Location in front of train station very convenient for those relying on train transport but otherwise not great (noisy, feels not too safe - perhaps undeservingly so!). Overall a great hotel."

"Food was really good amd has lots of choices but for some reason, warm food menu was cold and undercooked on my last 2 days of stay. There is laundry, free water (water dispenser), really small fridge inside room, and has no air conditioning (heater only). Hotel is close to Bologna Centrale (train ststion). Staff were good and addressed any concerns or answered politely to any questions. We initially had troubles with shower pressure and was resolved within the day of complaint."

"Nice hotel close to train station and on edge of historic area. Old world elegant. Large hotel. Underground parking is handy if you’ve got a car. Breakfast was OK. Not the best I’ve had for included breakfasts in Italy but fine to start your day. Room very clean and comfortable. Large by Europe standards. Quite beautiful with high ceilings, fabric walls. Staff were very professional and courteous. Just one issue - WIFI was terrible. Hard to get connection, which dropped constantly. Many...

"Warm welcome, clean room and bathroom, AC worked great, breakfast had a large assortment of fresh fruit, cake, meat, breads etc. There is a nice patio off the bar to relax outside. Everything I needed and very warm people serving at the bar and breakfast. Great stay."

"I’d recommend hotel roma to anyone staying in Bologna. Not entirely sure I’d stay here again, just cause I found the area to be too central (covered in designer stores, would prefer something more local but I hadn’t been to Bologna before). But it was clean, and the staff was nice. "

"Staff is great, hotel is new, well maintained and clean. However, there was a constant "humming" sound I could hear in the hallway, some time during my stay. Not sure if it was the elevator or a generator somewhere in the building. It was not enough to bother me, as I sleep very deeply. Restaurant was good and overall experience was pleasant. Will definitely stay there again."
