Cons: restaurant closed on Sundays and Mondays, you can’t get any food from hotel on this days. No room service available. Ventilation grids (a least in my room) have a lot of dust accumulated on it. My opinion - if you declare your property as “4 stars hotel with restaurant”, such service must be available 7 days a week and not only 5. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel finely. We did unfortunately have to change rooms due to a buzzing noise from the refrigeration system. Fortunately, this went easily and we were upgraded to one of the suites. It should be mentioned that the front of the hotel and restaurant 1937 both look fantastic but the experience towards and in the rooms is authentic and somewhat dated."

"This is an absolutely beautiful “Boutique” Hotel overlooking the main canal going through Middelburg. The train station is on the other side of the canal offering easy access to hotel and bike rentals. The rooms and entire hotel were spotless with modern spacious rooms. Nice buffet breakfast with dining room also overlooking the canal. We enjoyed the outside on street patio with heaters which were perfect to sit out at night. "We were travelling up the coast road and the location suited us. It is a little remote, but set along a nice piece of coast. We had a two room apartment which was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast we good. The staff on Reception and in the restaurant were very helpful. "

"The hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment but even the older rooms are of a good standard. Friendly, helpful staff. Car parking is across the road at the station but the daily rate is acceptable. Handy for the rail station. 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. I will use this place again. "
