"First time at The Star Grand Hotel. 5 stars! The casino was huge. Plenty of slot machines (pokies) and tables. The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the harbor with a balcony. "

"This hotel is gorgeous on the inside and provides a nice range of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bar options if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel to find food. It’s nestled on th sidewalks of George Street and Pitt Street, and is literally across the street from all of the main shops and restaurants within walking distance. I can’t tell you how many times I enjoyed the 20-minute walk from my hotel to the Sydney Opera House, just taking in all of the bustling street activity. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. My only issue is that the bed felt a little too soft and uneven at the top, and the pillows were high, so I felt like I didn’t get the best sleep. Loved the gym and loved the hot stone massage at their Alysium Spa. But to conclude, this hotel is the perfect spot to be able to have great food and be close to the action outside. "
