"I especially want to highlight the care and dedication of the staff—one night after walking all over Berlin during a heatwave my daughter managed to lock herself out of our room and we were so exhausted we didn’t hear her knocking. The staff found her wandering in her pjs, gave her a popsicle to calm her down and got her back to our room safely, and we didn’t even know it had happened until the next morning. "The location of this hotel is excellent. We loved the room with a small balcony. A small complain. our keys didn’t work because I was told the city taxes were not paid at the time of checking in. Of course it was paid otherwise you don’t get a key. They have a very slow hardware so the computer took us about 15 minutes to check us in. Staff was very pleasent and embarked for why the computer was so slow."

"The Grand Hyatt Berlin is a good hotel with an excellent location, making it very convenient for exploring the city's main attractions, shopping, and restaurants. That said, I expected a more refined experience from a five-star hotel. While the property is comfortable and well maintained, the overall atmosphere and level of service did not consistently meet the standards I associate with a luxury hotel. The service was polite, but it lacked the attention to detail and personalized care that truly distinguish a five-star experience. Overall, it's a solid choice if location is your top priority, but if you're looking for exceptional luxury and outstanding service, there are other hotels in Berlin that offer a more memorable five-star experience."
