"We had a wonderful stay a The Cliffside. Every single member of staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible for us. We had forgotten to organise dinner in advance, but the chef on site went above & beyond to cook us up the most delicious vegetarian curry. Not only that, they set up a lovely private dining area in our rooms garden to enjoy it in. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay here and will definitely be back."

"A little underwhelming, it's a nice enough hotel, but it's a little dated, the bed was very squeaky and not very large and we weren't impressed with the way we were greeted. First time travelling with our 4 month old so I forgot to put them on the reservation (that's on me for sure) but rather than an understanding, accommodating welcome, we were greeted with an dismissive, accusatory tone that I would not expect from a 5 star establishment that cost over R2000/night. "Clico Boutique hotel is a really nice establishment. The room was very clean. The bathroom is quite large with waterfall shower head and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately my sister got very ill after having dinner at the hotel. She had no energy, could hardly walk or speak.
