"I booked the Parallel last minute since I was not happy with the hotel that was booked by the travel tour. The Parallel is in a good location, quiet for a good night rest/sleep. the room was clean, modern aesthetic. Nice bed/beddings, I had a good restful sleep. My room was on the 7th floor and I had view of mountain, lake and the surrounding neighborhood. Staff was very helpful, friendly, shout out to Raythm who was very helpful. Breakfast is included (in my booking), all vegan (plus eggs and continental), the buffet spread had many options, fresh fruits, Indian vegan breakfast spread, omelet, pastries, yogurt... very healthy and tasty!. the breakfast space is on the 10th floor with sweeping view of the lake, mountain and Udaipur. the price was very reasonable, very affordable; a similar hotel like the Parallel anywhere in the west would cost 3-5 times more... overall, I am very happy with the parallel, highly recommended!"

"A refined heritage hotel overlooking Lake Pichola with beautiful views of the Lake Palace. The property has a calm, dignified atmosphere with authentic old-world charm. Rooms are spacious and elegant, and sitting by the window with a cup of tea watching the lake was a highlight of the stay. Service was warm, attentive, and true to Taj’s reputation. "Sukhmani and Kanchan, provided great and ease in checking in and checking out. Food is truly authentic Indian and tastes absolutely great. Urban tadka is great place to eat, excellent service. Manish provided above and beyond five star service. Suresh is another one with excellent customer experience. Chef Hamendra of urban tadka is amazing, kudos to him for having such an amazing buffet with variety over the days. Pizza by the lake is also amazing. All pizzas here is authentic, very nice ambience and seating by the lake. Frangipani by the lake, what a bar again amazing views!! Loved our stay here, ended up extending our stay by another day!"
