"This is a lovely quiet each front hotel, we stepped from our door onto the sand. Roo.s are good and the staff were wonderful! We stayed in four hotels in zanzibar, the staff here are exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Hotel even supprised us with a free trip to the 'rock resaurant' and star fish beach! We would stay again in a heart beat..."

"Alot of thought has gone into the different little expierances you can have, in areas you can choose to relax. Food and drinks were great! We were up-graded to a amaising luxury villa! Our butler Ramson was very attentive and thoughtful. He really went the extra mile staying up and helping us with our cases at 12.30am and helping with our taxi. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you..."

"The entire hotel staff are absolutely wonderful - they are always friendly and welcoming. They are really what makes this place great. The buffet food was great and our room was wonderful. The rOom and hotel in general were immaculately clean. Even the beach along the nearby coast is crystal clear and clean. would say the water for showering isn't great but I'm not sure there's a whole lot that can be done about that. The hotel is also quite far from Stone Town/the airport, so be prepared to booka lot of taxis if you have things to do on the west side of the island."

"I felt very welcomed when I first arrived at Le Mersenne Autograph Hotel. All of the staff are very nice and welcoming. Also the general manager Michael walks around and introduces himself to all the guess. I only have two little complaints about the room. The sliding door screen was off track and had a hole in the screen and the drapes were dirty at the bottom. But besides that my stay there was very nice. "

"This was an exceptional stay. The accomodations at The Level were beautiful and clean and beyond what I expected. Every detail was considered e.g. The toiletries were top notch and the room had everything you could need including beach blankets beach bags, umbrellas, steamer for your clothes.The list is endless. The pool areas ( there where several) were comfortable relaxing and clean and there were several activities, games and excursons. The Spa is amazing and the gym had everything one needs. The staff were friendly and the service impeccable from reception, restuarant service, housekeeping and the guys driving the shuttles within the resort. The grounds were beautiful and quiet with accress to a large expanse of the coastline. The only thing that needs improving is the food. For the cost and the level of excellence in other aspects of the resort, the food offerings need to be improved in terms of range of options and flavour. I also koted that there were some kids in the adults only section. They were well behaved and did not bother me but others may not appreciate it. Neither of these, would stop me from going back in a heartbeat. one of my best vacations ever. "

"We had an amazing stay at the Amani! The hotel is a perfect place for an adults-only, quiet, relaxing stay. The location was a bit outside of Paje (20 minute walk along the beach), and there were limited options for dining because of the location, but dinner is included so that meant we had a quiet, delicious dinner every night. The view of the pool, grounds, and beautiful beach were beautiful. There were lounges chairs on the beach and pool and enough for every guest - a first for us! The only downside was the large construction project next door. It didn't really affect us, but we talked to several guests who were placed in rooms with a view of the construction and a jack hammer pounding all day long. They were equally frustrated that they had not been informed in advance. Also, the hotel lists itself as a 5-star hotel. It is not, though it is certainly very nice. What really sets the Amani apart is the incredible staff. We felt pampered as if we were in a typical 5-star hotel. In particular, Hamad helped us unwind and relax from the moment we arrived until we left; Alfred was amazing with his attentiveness and constant joy; Robert never stopped anticipating what we might want or need next. We highly recommend this hotel, though you'd probably want to check in advance to make sure you have a room that is not facing the project next door (it looks like many months of work left ahead). "My stay at Kwanza was amazing, stayed here for my honeymoon and my wife really loved the resort. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was a nice added feature. The only thing I could fault this hotel is the drainage system in the shower and sink is a bit slow to go down the drain other than that everything is 5 star. I would definitely stay here again and the staff were all amazing and accommodating. "
