With views across the sea to the Assynt Mountains beyond, this cottage has been built to maximise its idyllic location.

Whilst it is a modern property, the main living area takes its inspiration from a traditional croft house and byre, with high ceilings and wood burning stove, surrounded by Caithness stone. The Gaelic name translates at The Green House; this alludes not only to the outside paintwork, but also to its eco friendly green credentials with a heat pump supplying heat and hot water, which was pretty innovative when it was built. The laundry service choices up on Thursday mornings. They don't need to see you or come into the house as they collect from a separate place, but it can be a shock to see someone walk past the window in the early morning so we thought we'd warn you.
