7.8/10 Good! (3,060 reviews)
I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at YOTEL New York Times Square was extremely disappointing.
Upon arrival, I waited 27 minutes to check in. The front desk appeared overwhelmed, and the process was unnecessarily slow.
The first room was poorly maintained. The sheets were disheveled, the furniture showed significant wear, several lights were not working, and the phone was disconnected.
I requested another room, only to encounter additional lighting issues. After being assigned a THIRD room, conditions improved slightly, but the overall experience remained disappointing.
The towels were rough and poor quality, the soap and lotion dispensers were empty, the ice machine was not functioning, and the elevators were consistently overcrowded.
What was supposed to be a relaxing stay quickly became a frustrating experience. Having to change rooms multiple times due to maintenance issues is unacceptable.
As someone who travels frequently, I expected much better cleanliness, room maintenance, and overall service.
Unfortunately, this was one of my most disappointing hotel experiences. Based on my stay, I would not return or recommend this property.
