"This is a superbly restored space and quite unique. It has a few quirks that one should know and are represented by the property managers. There are no meals available outside of breakfast. If one has large pieces of luggage navigating it to ones room could be more than challenging. I am a bit surprised that there is no accommodation made in terms of staffing to provide assistance with luggage."
"Lovely little place. A little out of the way but actually only a 15 minute walk at the most from St Davids centre. Well worth the extra few pounds for the sea view. Lovely clean and comfortable room with a balcony. There is a restaurant on site but unfortunately it wasn’t open for Sunday breakfast. There is a garage adjoining it which is also an off licence that also sells snack food."
"Stopped for one night, perfect choice. They offered dinner and breakfast, the breakfast was very tasty. I went into the city for dinner, can be easily walked. "
"I first visited the Druidstone 45 years ago and fell in love with everything about it; the friendly hosts, the homely decor and atmosphere, the perfect location and delicious food. I feel the same every time I visit including my most recent visit in August 2025, which included a fabulous Greek feast. "
"Great location, good service, good breakfast.
Room decor is a bit dated, with peeling paint over shower, but otherwise a good bathroom with rain shower and light up mirror over sink"

Cottage with coastal views of Abereiddy, Porthgain & as far as Strumble Head
10/10 Excellent
"Awesome location to explore the area. Great accommodations with everything you would need for a great trip. Highly recommend and especially take the coastal walk from Porthgain and then have a bite to eat at The Sloop."
"The cottage and garden were much smaller than it looked in the photos. The bath was half size and this was never mentioned. The whole cleanliness was not to a high standard. There were many cobwebs, the paintwork was marked and chipped and the windows were grubby. There were numerous flies in bathrooms. There were lovely pictures everywhere and niknaks. It may have been nice to know their history/origin. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking equipment. We lacked any welcome pack/information regarding how to work the washer/dryer, tv, heaters, underfloor heating. How to organise rubbish/recycling and when to put it out for collectiion. The garden was peaceful and pretty but it was 3 days before i found the washing line but the hole for it was in the grass and a danger re tripping or catching your foot. On inspection the wood burner had a large crack down the back and had some heavy bricks in which we thought showed it shouldnt be used, but there was no warning on it to say not to use.The mirror in the ensuite bathroom is high, at about 6 ft, and there was no alternative mirror in that bedroom. There was nowhere to put a cup of tea or glass of drink when sitting in the living room, apart from on the floor, which is not ideal. On arrival the water was lukewarm. We addressed this with the host, who turned out to be a cottage management company and this was resolved some 48hours after. The cottage could be so much better with just a little care and attention. "
"Lovely little cottage with plenty of amenities & tons of space. Short walk to the harbor for a tasty bite at The Sloop or walk along the coastal path! Looking forward to staying again. "

10/10 Excellent
"We all enjoyed our short break, it was, literally, a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed blustery cliff top walks and The sloop Inn was excellent. The cottage was perfect for four and a dog. It's a great spot. Very nice artwork in the cottage."
