"Air conditioner sounded like an idling Mack truck. Had to turn it off to sleep. Upstairs customer very noisy on my ceiling. Insufficient noise proofing."

"I’ve stayed at Blue Stem Hotel twice now. Both stays have been excellent. Quiet, very clean and very reasonable rates. Great renovation. Would stay there again."

"Under the bed was very dirty and there were, at least, 15 pink pills on the floor under there. The bathroom water pressure was almost non existent, shower and sink. I called the front desk for the kitchen package, that all the literature in the room said they would bring to the room, and was told to come to the front desk to get it. No toaster. No pots and pans. The breakfast is a joke. At 8:00 am all they had were nutri-grain bars since all the muffins were gone. The front desk gentleman said they go fast and it's first come first serve. I asked if he had any muffins in the kitchen or somewhere and I was told no. They're all gone. I will say that the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, to the best of their ability, with the only disappointment being having to walk all the way to the front desk after a long road trip. I'm not sure why they can't ask if the kitchen stuff would be needed, upon check in, to alleviate this stress on weary travelers."
