"This was our last night in Bar Harbor. The Anchorage was convenient in parking the car and making a quick exit the next morning. And also still walkable to restaurants, etc."

"it was a wonderful experience and I wish we were able to stay longer. It was like taking a step back in time staying there. The pianist that played in the bar in the evening was fabulous. The entire feel of the place was just lovely. I would 100% recommend and love to come back. Had breakfast in the looking glass and my goodness the view was breathtaking. "

"The property is ideally located so everything you would need is within walking distance. Very clean and the cider and soup at check-in were outstanding! Recommendations for dinner were spot in from the staff and we would absolutely stay here again in the future! "

"What a beautiful hotel. The beds were super comfortable. The bartender was fabulous. The sit down menu breakfast was out of this world. and the location was spot on."

"Excellent inn with many rooms but didn’t feel crowded even at breakfast in the indoor/outdoor spaces. Free private parking and walkable in town. Cute garden and gas fire pit outside also with outdoor rocking chairs on the front porch, and a side area for eating or resting outside. Breakfast was good and included a savory or a sweet option and fresh fruit. Pastries, bread, cereal, and other accoutrements were available for supplement. Rooms were very nice with good beds and bedding and had a microwave and mini fringe and small counter area."

"We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in our room because we had so much to do and see. Main Street Motel provided basic accommodations at a reasonable price. Our room on the first floor was clean and comfy, and we were able to park right by our room door. Safe location and in easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, parks, ice cream. Friendly staff and 24/7 coffee, water and snacks in the main office. Would stay here again."
