This resort was amazing from booking to check-out. They were super responsive and reach out almost immediately to prepare for our customized experience then stayed in touch prior to and during the stay to ensure expectations were exceeded. Ingo even surprised us with a special bottle of wine and beautiful bed of roses in a heart, which had a special meaning for our trip based on something I shared, that was truly super special and shows how much they listened and care! Luis was a wonderful bellman and there to buggy us around as needed. The in Villa barbecue was outstanding with the Chef making my husband’s favorite dish, David serving and Fidel ensuring we had a creative scrumptious dessert that was even sugar free. Chef Huan is from Thailand and cooks up amazing Thai dishes while Guillermo the Manager and Yuir at Saffron provided outstanding service to ensure a romantic evening. The spa was truly a treat with the Thai ritual and highly recommend. The villas are extremely private and spacious with every consideration for amenities with beautiful views. We loved our heated private pool. The resort and staff went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. Highly recommend this resort as the top place to stay in Acupulco. Totally understand why they were awarded a Michelin Key. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing! Just reopening after the destruction of the hurricanes and have done a monumental job getting it ready to represent the Banyan Tree name properly. Everything is new from rooms and beds to gym equipment to tables and chairs along with structures. My villa overlooked the Pacific and was private and tranquil. This is a quiet facility at the tip of the point. If you're looking to party, it is probably not the place but if you're looking to relax and reset in tranquility, then this is the one! The food at La Nao had Saffron option in the evening as Saffron is opening in the next week or two - Saffron is one of my all-time favorite menus and this didn't disappoint. I will return to this resort soon. Can't give it enough praise.

From the moment we arrived at the lobby, the view was spectacular, and the welcome was very warm. Although we generally enjoyed our stay, several details arose that we would not expect from a hotel of this category. While the hotel offers stunning views and excellent service, several inconveniences affected the experience, including unfulfilled technical support requests, delayed service for basic amenities, issues with restaurant reservations, and disruptive music choices. Additionally, concerns about safety due to speeding golf carts, ineffective air conditioning, and a failure to arrange a scheduled airport transfer further contributed to dissatisfaction. Though the hotel manager intervened to resolve some issues, these lapses were unexpected for a hotel of this caliber. Our disappointment stemmed from receiving a villa that did not match the Ocean Front category we had booked and paid for, despite reassurances from reception. The difference between an Ocean Front and an Ocean View villa was clear, and our assigned room only had a partial ocean view. While the hotel manager, Mr. Octavio, made kind efforts to address our dissatisfaction, we would have preferred to receive the correct room from the start. Despite the hotel's stunning views and excellent staff service, these missteps left us with mixed feelings about returning, as such issues should not occur at a hotel of this caliber.
