  • Villa Etna da mare is a stunning two-story property that, despite being located on the main road, is nestled in the beautiful ACI FOREST, a Site of Community Importance (SIC) at the foot of Mount Etna, which is clearly visible from the villa itself. It is just a few kilometres from Acireale, a lively town on the Ionian Sea famous for its CARNIVAL—with its papier-mâché floats and floats made from thousands of flowers—as well as for its numerous excellent traditional and/or seafood restaurants.
    The villa is just 6 km from Catania and a little more than that from its airport, about 30 km from TAORMINA, and just a few kilometres from the sea at the FARAGLIONI cliffs of ACITREZZA or the very convenient FONDACHELLO beach near the TOURIST PORT OF ETNA, and 30 minutes from the SKI slopes where you can ski while looking out at the sea—a rare experience found in few places in the world.

    The house features four double bedrooms that are easily versatile and adaptable to the group’s needs; cots or extra beds are available upon request. The bedrooms each have their own bathroom, and one of them even features a whirlpool tub.

    On the ground floor, which overlooks the terraces, the lawn, and the pool, there is a spacious double living room, as well as a kitchen fully equipped with everything needed for meal preparation and table setting, including a dishwasher and washing machine.

    The outdoor areas feature a well-maintained lawn, as well as poolside lounge chairs, shaded areas, and a private, fenced-in car park.
    A barbecue and grill are also available outdoors for delicious roasts.

    However, we recommend renting a car to make the most of your holiday.

Beautiful Home Overlooking Mt. Etna

We were a family group of 4 adults all over 65 years old. Salvo's home was absolutely beautiful, well-appointed, very clean, and the view of Mt. Etna was incredible! The location was very convenient for visiting all the beautiful little towns in this part of Sicily. Only 30 minutes from the airport, and we easily drove to Cefalu, Taormina, Acireale, Siracusa, Ostigia, Catania, Aci Castello, Etna, Enna and more. The home has 4 very spacious king bedrooms, 2 with en suite full baths. 2 other bedrooms share a bathroom. Another half bath on the lower level, and a full bath out by the pool. The grounds around the house were lovely, as was the very well appointed outdoor living space. Wonderful pool and outdoor space in the summers. All the rooms in the house are very spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with all you need to prepare meals for the family. It was also very convenient to have use of a washer, dryer and dishwasher. Salvo was a gracious host and always very responsive to our needs. We highly recommend Salvo's home and we would absolutely stay here again if and when we return to Sicily.
