Relaxing Stay in a lovely appartement in a beautiful location
The appartement was very complete and on a beautiful location with a stunning view on the mountains. The Burn family is very kind and we had some very interesting and nice conversations together. Please check the wooden creations made by mr. Burn, amazing! We also did numerous hikes in the vicinity, a very enjoyable place to spent our holiday. We surely think of going back in spring time. We recommend this property to anyone!!!

This is a perfect place for nature lovers with hiking trails outside the front door, brook just across the street and spectacular scenery. Having coffee on the patio from the best espresso machine ever, listenning to the birds was pure bliss. The apartment has all the modern amenities and the shower plays music what more could you ask for. I enjoyed making my meals, the kitchen is equipped with everything including a fondue pot. The bakery in town has the best pastries and fresh bread and there is a gourmet store just two doors downwith a selection of cheese that should not be missed. If it rains, the towns along the lake Thun are beautiful. Or you can just sit under the awning on the patio and watch the clouds dance among the mountains. Now I need to learn some German so I can tell Mr. & Mrs. Burn how much I enjoyed their garden all the flowers and their cat Kim. As I said, pure bliss.

Ultra modern appliances in a traditional Swiss farmhouse at base of spectacular mountains
Wonderful apartment for my wife and me. Ultra modern appliances and furniture in an old school Swiss farm house. Hiking trails just minutes away and easily accessed by bus or by car. Lovely hosts offered us plentiful kindness and assistance. Highly recommend!

absolute gem in the bernese mountains
Arriving: Google maps shows all Swiss roads as toll roads if you rent a car in Switzerland you don't have to worry as the required vignette is included (otherwise you buy it at the border for 40sfr). The address (#10) is falsely indicated by google. When you're in front of #8 continue a tiny bit and use the long driveway to get to the house. Shopping: Migros in Frutigen (you'll most likely drive by it on your way up) free parking Coop in Frutigen (the other predominant grocery chain in switzerland) Coop in Adelboden (has some souvenirs as well) Bags cost 30rp. keep them. Local must sees: 1. Cholerenschlucht (gorge) either hike there (total 2.5h) or drive there and you'll see a parking lot where you park and hike from there (approx. 1h) 2. Engstligenalp (short drive to the Talstation) Upper and lower falls are amazing. Pro tip: Take the gondola up and hike down (3h - medium challenge hike). You'll see both waterfalls. Swimming: Spietz has a very nice 'Badanlage' and is around 35min away. Accommodations: Absolutely beautifully renovated private part of an old farm house. Having a fondue on the deck was definitely a highlight of the trip. Super modern kitchen and a new washer/dryer are worth noting as well. One thing you might want to be aware of is not to leave the doors or Windows open as like any place with animals around there are many flies. (For the faint of heart I'd recommend a bug spray.) Ps: DEFINITELY STAYING THERE AGAIN.

Goede en schone vakantiewoning
We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in het verblijf. Wat niet op de foto's staat maar wel fijn is om te weten is dat er een 2 persoonsbank in staat om op te relaxen. Hoewel er geen huiskamer in zit hebben we deze niet gemist. Het enige wat we misten was een zonnescherm/parasol aangezien het bij ons best wel warm was op het terras. Verder zeker een aanrader!

Het uitzicht is fenomenaal
We konden in eerste instantie het huisje niet vinden, google brengt je naar een ander plekje. Huisje is geweldig, zo luxe, ruim en met fantastisch zicht op de bergen. Het ouder paar dat daar woont is aller aardigst en meneer is wel zo vakkundig met hout, heel mooi om zijn werkplaats te mogen zien.

It was fantastic again
This was our second time! and it was great again! Recently stayed at a beautiful holiday apartment in Adelboden, Switzerland, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom. The view from the apartment were great with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valley. The location of the apartment was perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to the ski slopes, hiking trails, and the charming village of Adelboden. The owner of the apartment was extremely helpful and accommodating. . Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for a memorable holiday in Adelboden. It was the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, rundum grün, sehr erholsam, ab und zu von der Landwirtschaft etwas laut, sehr nette Vermieter, Einrichtung im Ess- und Schlafbereich schön, aber nicht sehr praktisch (grosser Tisch als einzige Ablage, Fernseher nicht vom Sofa aus sichtbar)... wir kamen aber gut damit klar.

Super Kerst met een perfecte Kerstdiner Keuken
Heerlijke geschakelde woning van alle gemakken voorzien! Top keuken en sanitair; alles kan, rustige omgeving en pracht uitzicht. Tips? Dimbare verlichting, salontafeltje bij de bank, en een ander matras maar dat is echt voor de super bonus want het huisje is eigenlijk nagenoeg perfect.

Hier bekommt man das, was man erwartet. Sehr schöne Wohnung mit mega Küche. Die anderen Möbel sind etwas älter, aber das hat uns gar nicht gestört. Die Fußbodenheizung ist der Knaller. Diese Wellnessdusche brauch es nicht. Und ein Staubsauger wäre schön gewesen. Dann hätte man zwischendurch mal saugen können. Aber das sind meiner Meinung nach keine Gründe an irgendeiner Stelle einen Punkt Abzug zu geben. Die Wohnhng war top gereinigt! Fenster, Leisten, einfach alles. Es hat nicht so viel Geschirr/Besteck, aber wenn man 1x am Tag die Spülmaschine abstellt, reicht alles aus. Wer mit dem Bus durch die Gegend fahren will hat 500 m vor der Haustür die Haltestelle und mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten im Zentrum von Adelboden und in 3 Minuten an der „großen“ Liftstation. Die Katze ist übrigens mega süß. Sie kommt mehrmals am Tag zum Hallo sagen. Traut sich aber nur selten reins 😉

Fantastisch appartement en zeer gastvriendelijke verhuurders
Wij hebben een erg goed verblijf gehad. De verhuurders zijn erg gastvriendelijk en aardig. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in het appartement. Alles was erg goed schoon. De omgeving is erg mooi en er zijn veel mooie wandelroutes in de omgeving.

We have been for 13 nights in July 2019. It is the fourth time we came to this property. As always we say thank you so very much to the owners for their wonderful hospitality. Everything is as described on the internet site. We have to repeat the comments because the location is really wonderful. The WiFi internet connection really worked and we could connect our laptop computer and talk using Skype. The property is well designed, very clean and well maintained. The apartment has a bedroom accommodating two people. The living area is excellent to work and relax. There is a functional kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, dishes and cooking utensils). The bathroom has toilet/shower/sink and washer/dryer. We could park our car just in front of the entrance. The owners are wonderful people and they made significant efforts to transform our vacation into a wonderful experience. We were pleasantly surprised with Swiss specialties. We hope to come back again.

Leider haben wir vor Abreise keine weiteren Informationen bekommen zur Schlüsselübergabe etc. Den Vermieter konnten wir nicht kontaktieren. Auf gut Glück sind wir dann einfach angereist und vor Ort hat dann alles geklappt. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, modern, top ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Perfectly catered house
We stayed here for only 5 days and it was to short! The house is very beautiful. Everything looks well. The kitchen is very wel equipped, a very nice bathroom and the surroundings are stunning! Eine sehr schöne und gemütliche Ferienwohnung, mit sehr exklusiven Kochmöglichkeiten (wer hat schon einen Herd, der eine extra Kochmulde für einen Wok hat?), super ruhig und wunderschön gelegen. Die Vermieter sind auch unglaublich freundlich und nett. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort und würden definitiv wieder hinfahren!

Rundum zufrieden
Wir waren erstmalig im Berner Oberland zu Gast und waren nicht nur von Adelboden und seiner Umgebung überwältigt, sondern auch von der Ferienwohnung selbst. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts, komplett eingerichtet, sehr sauber, ruhige Lage mit Blick auf die Berge und einem guten Anschluss zur Bushaltestelle und sehr nette und hilfreiche Gastgeber. Wir kommen wieder.

Tolle Wohnung, super Lage !
Sehr gut ausgestattet Wohnung in perfektem Zustand, alles vorhanden was man für ein paar entspannte Tage braucht. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ! Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal, um zu Fuß sämtliche Bergbahnen und Wanderwege zu erreichen. Wir haben hier sehr schöne Tage verbracht und kommen gerne wieder !

Great place to stay if you like luxury and silence
As mentioned before the place is even better then you would expect from the pictures. Very clean. I would recommend it hihgly. Adelbodem is also a great place to stay if you like hiking.

Entspannen auf der Moosweid
Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr gut. Sie ist sauber und neuwertig. Auf der schön grossen Terrasse kann man gemütlich grillieren und den Abend genissen. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen. Vielen Dank!
