Rhodes Hotel Guide - Afandou Golf Course hotels in Rhodes, Greece.

"The hotel is set on a hillside about a 25 min walk to Faliraki. The rooms are basic and clean. The owners are friendly. The breakfast is continental - ham, cheese, bread, cereals, fruit and cake. We enjoyed it. The hotel shares a pool with the Palm Concept hotel next door. This pool is absolutely stunning. For a budget friendly break I would absolutely recommend "

"Our stay was as a family with young kids. We chose half board (there’s an all inclusive option). The stay was ok overall. Pros: very friendly and helpful lady at the front desk, close to Anthony Quinn and Ladikio beaches, easy parking, many (basic) facilities, nice pool, superior room is good size and nice view to the pool and sea. Quiet for a good night’s sleep. Cons: the hotel is relatively outdated and many common areas require renovation. The superior room is renovated, but is very basic in all aspects and some of the furniture is worn out. The food is mediocre. The staff at the hotel dining room were not too friendly / helpful and the breakfast buffet was shut down minutes before the 10am cut off in a manner that was not welcoming. Value for money was low - Rhodes hotel prices have increased significantly, but this hotel cannot be justified at the price we paid. If it was <$150/night then my view would slightly change, as you should get what you pay for. "

"Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. Georgios was incredibly attentive, and a brilliant host. He’d provided a fully stocked fridge for us, knowing we would be arriving late, which was so kind. When we discovered any issue, he’d be there immediately. The villa is stunning and exactly like the photos, except even bigger inside than what you see. It’s beautiful, though rural, so it’s like a haven. Everything worked perfectly. This wasn’t an issue for us as we had a car - you will need one. The local beach is probably a 15/20 minute walk, we didn’t go as it’s not sandy. The local mini mart isn’t great either, but there’s another one just 5 mins drive. Kolymbia, the next town down, is 10 mins drive and a great night out.There are cats, and chickens around but they don’t come near you. The pool area is lovely, it’s not massive but it was fine for our family of 4 and warm and clean. WiFi is not great at all but we all had our own data bundles and I didn’t really want any anyway! Another plus is that you can order food in as most of the local places know the villa! All in all, Georgios and the villa was everything we could hope for, and more, and we would definitely return. "

"Property good. Clean. Practical issues: No drawers for underwear etc only facilities for hanging clothes (around 6-7 hangers) so had to keep half stuff in suitcase. Daily bed-making and new bathmat plus loo roll re-fill, which was great. Floors don't get done though and no dustpan or broom to do them yourselves. Towels don't get refreshed - we stayed for 8 days. Outside was pretty. We were ground floor. Good-sized table and chairs but no parasol so too hot to sit out as no shade..also people above us smoked and we found ash on the table top in the morning so that wasn't great but not the property's fault. Bed was very comfy indeed! Overall a good choice and easy to get to Rhodes or Lindos and beyond."

"The property was amazing (loved seeing the goats every day). Our family with adult children was able to spread out and enjoy our own spaces. The pool was perfect, clean, and very refreshing. The one thing everyone noted was the beds and pillows were very comfortable.Thanks so much to Tina for her help and advice. She was very available. We had one of the a/c units break and she got the tech out to the house quickly to replace it. She provided so many ideas for our activities for the week. I would highly recommend this amazing property."
