"We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage. There is a lot of useful information material, but some information was outdated (WiFi password, name and number of the local manager, number of the proprietor). This made it difficult to contact manager or proprietor when we encountered a problem. Once contact was established, the problem was resolved smoothly. There is a nice 8 km walk starting from the cottage, the finest part of which is a stretch of coastline that is only accessible at low tide....

"My wife, my mom (whose account I am reviewing from), and a friend stayed at Debbie’s property for a week in late October. I am always a bit leery of beautiful photos in listings because they can be taken from good angles that mislead you a bit. That couldn’t be further from the truth here. Everything about this property is as perfect as you see in the photos. We hiked local trails, we visited the lovely Kylemore Abbey (and don’t miss the gardens!), we ate at the Renvyle hotel, Veldon’s Seafarer...

"We stayed for 2 weeks last year and 3 weeks this time. We have already asked for 4 weeks next year! Neither fashionable nor modern (the refrigerator is vintage 1970), it is the quiet respite we love and the location for daily drives and coffee looking out at Clew Bay. The housekeeper has made a huge difference in its upkeep, treated us as “her wee Americans” and gave us fabulous ideas for things to do, including Clew Bay Charters. We will count the days until we return."

"It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again."

"Enjoyed our time at the Tievemore house. Great view. Comfortable accommodations. Would recommend this highly. Ross beach was terrific bonus. There is BBQ grill left charcoal and lighter fo the next visitors. Confused about the recycling..Is glass handled separately? Think the Wi-Fi router needs replacing. Worked fine and then nothing. "Home decor was lovely , lovely linen, lots of space . Felt very comfortable staying there. Location superb - short car drive from everywhere. Few minor issues which have been feed back to owner - grubby laundry and main bathroom - ensuite was lovely , bins full."

"We’re “day trippers” and value returning after a day’s foray to a welcoming home. Heaven, Too was just that and more: spacious to the point of luxury, with views that constantly drew the eye. "Lovely large house provides the perfect stay on beautiful Renvyle Peninsula. We are already planning a return trip to this great comfortable house situated on the coast with gorgeous views - a flock of sheep on the field next to the house provide non-aquatic pastoral views as well. The giant Aga stove made it fun to cook meals while within 15 minutes drive there are numerous great pubs and markets should you not want to cook! The house was fresh and clean with good wifi and an attentive...

"We thought we were renting a private location however the owners live upstairs not as listed in a self contained apartment at the rear of the property suggesting a separate space. Their movement, TV could be heard right above our bedroom. Positives location and views are great. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils you need for cooking/dining. "
