"Very warm welcome upon arrival. Helpful, friendly staff. Studio room was large, clean and well equipped. Complementary tea, coffee, sugar and a large bottle of water in fridge waiting for us. "We have stayed at the Yakinthos at least 6 times over the last 20 years. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach and numerous restaurants. Lovely pool area. There is a bus stop nearby No 21 frequent bus service to Chania town. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is showing some signs of age but this is reflected in the price and the location makes up for it. The rooms facing the road can be noisy from the traffic so I would recommend booking a pool or garden view room. "

The staff was out of their way helpful, and they are able to help with booking a car or other excursions on the island of Crete. They responded to all of our requests with grace, kindness and over the top accommodation. It is just outside of Chania city so quieter with big city comforts."
