"Clean rooms, friendly staff, and basic breakfast (small portions of juice, jam, honey, toast, boiled eggs). A plus is that the hotel offered rides to the park entrance, stored our luggage and allowed us to park our car overnight. A nice and convenient stay before and after hiking the Samaria Gorge!"

"For the price paid the accommodation was very good, clean and larger than a Parisian hotel room. Towels were enough including the beach towel. The view is superb from the table in front of the door. The only miss was the coffe for the provided machine but the girl at the reception was helpful and the problem was solved."

Cependant les chambres sont confortables, la literie parfaite et la douche top. La famille qui gère cet établissement fait de son mieux et la bonne surprise a été le petit déjeuner buffet qui a été mis en place pour nous 2 avec des spécialités locales excellentes. "Amazing value. We hiked a gorge during the day and ended up down south so looked for a room in the area and found this with good reviews. Driving to it I had second thoughts. It was a bit further away than I thought and there was not much nice once we got off the main north/south road. As we turned into the facility my mood brightened. "We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!"
