"This hotel is very old you feel like you are in 1970’s. The outside look nice but inside it feels like you are in your grandma’s house. NO HOT WATER, no shower door, no working coffee pot at breakfast, breakfast was no good and the room key had a weight on in that had to be returned to the desk when you left the hotel."

Staff: EXCELLENT insofar as the morning lady who is there — she was friendly and effective. Everyone else seemed either bothered or ineffective. Rooms: Old, there’s quite a lot of damp, weak AC. "I found hotel Rene online and it looked to good to be true but in fact it was!!! The staff is amazing and super attentive to everyone’s needs. Each morning we were served an INCREDIBLE breakfast by the water. The pool overlooking the sea is beautiful and never gets old. Our room was clean and had a beautiful porch with a place to hang our wet clothes and sit down. The bed was incredibly comfortable and they provided us with many extra blankets to make us feel at home. Sitting by the pool we ordered a great lunch and drinks and felt like we could stay there all day. It is only a 10 minute walk into town and provides a sanctuary from the busy town. While the walk was short, it is definitely steep so good to bring sneakers. All together, absolute paradise. Highly recommend. "
