"The hotel is very basic, and for the price point that is expected and okay, Housekeeping staff were very friendly and cleaned when you asked. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating to me. It was Coachella week and the hotel was insanely busy with the cast of characters that event brings to town, so a little patience and a smile went a long way with a very demanding and frenetic crowd. Kudos to them! Would stay again."

"Sometimes when I book a last-minute trip to Palm Springs, I’m not chasing luxury—I’m chasing cheap, clean, and close to downtown. Prices here swing wildly depending on season, heat, and whatever festival is in town. I’d driven past the Desert Lodge for years in its great South Palm Canyon location but never stayed—until last weekend, when it was the cheapest option by far. The exterior looks like it’s been on pause since about 1960, with mid-century breeze blocks and a green painted pool deck...

"From check in to check out it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant food was amazing and the room was better than expected. The hotel had a bar out at the pool that we also enjoyed. We will definitely be coming back!"

"Typical clean cookie cutter type hotel. We stayed there when we were in town to see the Beach Boys in concert at the Aqua Caliente Casino and resort. This quaint hotel had reasonable rates compared to the Aqua Caliente casino, which were quadruple the price for one night. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I highly recommend to stay."

"Property is located a short distance from the I-10 for easy access however the area is quiet. Hotel is relatively new, modern, very clean and staff was outstanding. Will book this location again. "
