"Lovely stay at the Highland, just one night as so many just waiting for the ferry the next day, stayed in one of the studios with hot tub and ate at the Terrace restaurant. All very good"

"The cabin was clean, modern yet cozy and off the beaten path from the crowds in Portree. The kitchen was excellent if you wanted to cook on holiday. The only draw back was the small fridge that didn't seem to cool very well. The host was very responsive to our requests during our visit. I wanted a secluded stay for our time on Skye that was easy to get around to all the popular destinations. I would definitely stay here again."

"The property was so nice! Location was within walking distance of restaurants. Our room was so pretty! The only down side was the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Everything else was good. "If your preference is for a modern purpose built hotel, then the Morar hotel might not be for you. It does however offer a spectacular building with feature packed rooms downstairs with grand staircases up to the bedrooms, very clean, modern bathroom in the bedroom we had, unbelievable views from many of the bedroom windows and great food. The staff (Nadia, Tuan, Akram and Trenton) were very friendly and helpful. The location, immediately opposite the station was ideal for us on our railway holiday, but there is plenty of parking too. For me though, to be able to start the day with a 4 minute walk down to the beach and have a wild swim in the sea, before breakfast was just perfect."
