Great stay, thank you

Lovely staff who were very helpful when i had questions on getting around. Showers and bathroom were good, appreciate the strong water pressure. Easy 10 minute walk into town. No issues at all, thank you for the lovely stay.

Don’t book it

Went in and out after a minute. So dirty and the building felt teared apart. Would not recommend. We got our money back so that was very kind and left directly after we saw the bathrooms. It’s not even very close to the Main Street.

Backpackers by the Bay was the perfect place to end our stay in the Whitsundays. Peter and Hannah were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The systems work really well, with bathrooms and kitchen super clean, lots of amenities that helped us with rinsing our camping gear, relaxing hammocks. And remarkably quiet for a place with so many younger guests. A great stay and the best introduction to a hostel that our young daughters could have!
