"The staff there was friendly enough and we had a pretty good stay for the $$$. However there are some aethetics that could be addresses the building needs to be refreshed. Our stay was for 10 days and most days the coffee was cold, no waffle mix or syrup when they did have some. We were really looking forward to having waffles. If you didn't make it down for 7am sharp it will be slim pickings. It seems they never had an adequate amount of food items. Good thing we had a kitchen to cook! And then the staff is completing with guests for breakfast items. Not a good look. Could do better. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again. Scottie was very friendly and accommodating."

"Didn't have breakfast, the room was clean, they were business friendly. I just had a hard time getting checked in with the room key not working and both elevators being broken. "

"To begin with, the write up for this rental property was advertised as a Charming 3-bedroom house. The 3 bedroom was correct, but it was far from charming. There was a lot of deferred maintenance on the property, from cracked broken floor tiles in the bathroom, which one could cut their bare feet on, the floor boards in the dining area that were loose and lifting up, a back storm door that was broken and would not close properly to the walls that were in need of a fresh coat of paint. As there were no dressers to store your clothes in, you had to live out of your suitcase. The items that you wanted to hang up also became a problem as there were only 4 hangers in one bedroom, one hanger in the second bedroom and none in the 3rd bedroom. I could go on with more about the sub-par conditions compared to the prime rental costs but will leave it as I would not rent this property again. "

"This beautiful property was the perfect setting for our 55th anniversary celebration. Our out of town guests stayed in the vintage home and they really were impressed and felt pampered. The rooms were spacious and charming. The stairs were a challenge for our over 75 guests. I would suggest that light colored strips be applied to each step to help those with failing eyesight see each step better. The kitchen was fantastic with the chef's range and industrial refrigerators. The guest house was ideal for getting dressed before the ceremony.i would recommend this beautiful home to anyone but especially for those looking for a venue for a small event. "
