Athens Key doesn't seem like it's in the best or safest part of Athens. The staff were helpful and the available meals were good. However, it was noisy (packed with schoolchildren when I was there) and the promised views of the Parthenon were available if you were in just the right place on the roof top restaurant. It is not conveniently located except for the Athens Museum of Archaeology.

Good location. Shower was broken and while I took a shower my room flooded. They sent someone to dry it but when I came back the floor was still wet and smell bad. I asked to change rooms and they said it wasn’t possible. Also, they control the AC and at night it was crazy hot and sleeping was more like a nightmare.

"A pretty nice hotel.It could use a makeover and was clearly very nice in its heyday. However, the staff was friendly and the view of the lagoon quite pleasant; the breakfast buffet was excellent! For an added bonus, the small restaurant up the causeway in Tourlida was a great - and close - dinner ..."
