"Arrived late at night after a flight to be told they had given away my room as I hadn't arrived by 6pm. Why? My credit card had already been authorised by Expedia. Was left stranded in Riyadh during LEAP so no hotels were available and was forced to pay a fortune last-minute for the only hotel available on the night."

"I got the "city facing" room which was technically facing the city but the windows were all covered up by their hotel sign. I stayed for a week, the first night I thought it must be near a highway because the floor shook like a truck was passing by. I later realized that my room was right above the sliding entrance door and it vibrated the room each time someone walked through. The room, however, was decent.
