Restored historic walls, exposed wooden beams, bleached oak floors, and designer furniture and lighting.<br>Just a short walk from Piazza del Duomo, your holiday in the Langhe starts here.<br><br>The property<br><br>The apartments are located in a building in the historic centre of Alba, just a short walk from Via Vittorio Emanuele and Piazza Risorgimento, where the Duomo is located.<br>The building, dating back to the mid-1800s, has been renovated using the latest techniques to offer guests the utmost in living comfort: optimal air quality with a VMC system for automatic air exchange, an air conditioning system with high heating and cooling capacity that operates extremely quietly (Vector Control technology), and complete thermal insulation of the building, which ensures greater thermal comfort, reduced humidity, and less noise pollution inside the apartments. <br><br>The renovation was completed in July 2023 and was executed with meticulous attention to detail—not only in terms of living comfort but also in terms of design and the quality of the furnishings and lighting.<br>Furthermore, the original stone and brick walls have been preserved on some of the apartment’s walls. Combined with the wooden ceiling featuring exposed beams, the bleached oak flooring, the minimalist design of the furnishings, and the specially designed lighting, these elements create truly exclusive living spaces.<br><br>From the street, you enter the building through a pedestrian gate by entering a personal numeric code (apartment code) on the keypad located to the left of the entrance.<br>The same code also allows you to open the apartment’s front door.<br><br>The large windows are equipped with external sunshades that offer maximum privacy and allow you to optimally adjust the amount of sunlight entering the apartment.<br><br>All double beds in the apartment come with an orthopedic bed base, a mattress featuring seven distinct zones of pocket springs, and memory foam pillows to ensure optimal rest; additionally, each bedroom has its own private bathroom with a shower, accessible directly from the bedroom itself.<br><br>The apartments are equipped with Wi-Fi, and each bedroom has a 42-inch smart TV.<br><br>In the property’s courtyard, separated from the street by a minimalist Corten steel gate, there are two parking spaces for the exclusive use of the apartments. Private parking spaces are available for a fee (please enquire about availability). The driveway gate opens with a code (gate code).<br><br><br>The apartment (Polluce)<br><br>The apartment is spread over two floors. <br>On the entry level, you’ll find a dining area with two large windows. Here you’ll find an oval table measuring 160 cm x 85 cm (Tulip model, designed by A. Saarinen) complete with six chairs (Seven model, designed by A. Jacobsen), suitable for dining with six people. <br>This room transforms into a perfect bedroom simply by sliding the table under the iron staircase and unfolding the fold-down double bed recessed into the wall (note: the fold-down bed has a safety soft-close mechanism that allows it to lower and raise very easily). Furthermore, despite being a fold-down bed, it retains the same features as the other beds in the two bedrooms, ensuring that all occupants of the apartment enjoy the same quality of sleep.<br>In front of the bed, you’ll find a white unit protruding from the old stone and brick wall, housing a 42-inch TV; inside, you’ll discover a closet for storing your clothes. <br>The full bathroom with a shower is located directly behind the wall behind the bed, making it directly accessible from the bedroom.<br>Beyond the painted glass sliding door, you’ll find the kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, induction cooktop, and range hood with external venting; the ceramic worktop features a built-in sink, and the faucet has a pull-out spray. The kitchen also includes a convenient wooden snack bar with two stools.<br>On the same floor, you’ll find the bedroom, complete with a small walk-in closet; the bathroom, accessible directly from the bedroom through two iron-colored painted glass sliding doors, features a large shower and separate toilet and sink
