"The staff was amazing, the room was smaller than expected but wasn’t enough for us to dislike or complain. We were truly only in there to sleep and get ready. We ate at one of the restaurants and it was pretty good. The lobby was nice while we waited after arriving earlier than normal."

"Nice hotel in most respects. I chose to not park on the hotel property and pay the high daily fee. I had no problems finding nearby street parking during the day and night. There are a lot of homeless in the area (same as most of Portland), but I had no problems with leaving my car out on the street. My only complaint is that we did get a fair amount of noise in the room from the commuter trolleys. They apparently operate well into the night and start quite early in the morning."

Eco-friendly Tiny Home in Alberta Arts District

"I could tell that Miles had spent considerable time building out this gorgeous tiny house. The space was so lovely! We enjoyed the large shower with double heads, the Toto toilet, W/D and many other amenities, but most of all, they loft bed and pillows were so comfortable. There is a park around the corner, grocery store and restaurants within in walking distance. Miles was great with communication, check-in and offered any help as needed. The door opens to the drive-way, but he's built lovely raised gardens in-between and even gave us ripe cherry tomatoes. The neighborhood is so nice to walk in as well - so many gardens. A family member had found the listing and I looked around a bit more before we confirmed and saw nothing else that looked remotely comparable. We will definitely stay there again. And, in the words of my 10-year child, "could this be my room all the time?". Thanks Miles!"

"This basement apartment is conveniently located; it’s close to restaurants and the Alberta Arts District. Despite not having AC, this place stayed incredibly cool during the 90 degree Portland summer weather! The floor plan is well laid out and it is sunny and spacious, with everything one needs provided, including washer and dryer. Beds were very comfortable. Communication was excellent. Our dog was very happy there!"

"Spot on; definitely note as someone booking through Expedia the pools are not included. May be better to have it as something to add on like other spots have breakfast? Already booked again. Not sure where other reviews are staying but even the studio is absolutely roomy enough. Love the expansive fridge and other kitchenette features. Knowing it’s sustainably, while beautifully built is icing on the cake. Terra Mae is incredible as well."

"The Portland Villa was our dream home for a special family reunion and even exceeded expectations - my highest possible recommendation! The layout, amenities, amazing and responsive host, great neighborhood and convenient location, spotless upkeep, fully-stocked kitchen, charming Portland decor, and ability to enjoy time together in the beautiful shared indoor and outdoor spaces while also having privacy in generously-sized bedrooms all provided a simply perfect experience. We already plan to stay at the Portland Villa again for our next visit. Wonderful host hospitality whenever I had a rookie question, fantastic nearby dining and shopping and parks, and so many great memories — thank you Portland Villa for helping us enjoy the best vacation ever!"
