"It’s hard to accurately describe how wonderful Livia’s Villa is, so I’ll offer this comment from a friend who arrived first: “It’s like stepping into a dream.” 15 of us traveled from the US and a few points in Amsterdam to celebrate my husband’s birthday. No one wanted to leave.The property is gorgeous, Livia is an exceptional host, the town and many amenities are close by, and Nonna Maria’s dinner on the first night was wonderful. We’d absolutely come back and are already planning our trip! "

"Very friendly as check-in. We speak little scilian and the staff were so kind and patient as we tried to communicate. Most of them even tried to speak English to help with the language barrier. The property is beautiful. It was a real life castle. Slightly out dated but no a big deal at all. There was free parking. Which was a plus as the town was very busy. The views were amazing and the food was delicious. "

The only thing we would have liked was easier access to the snack bar at the pool for drinks etc. we had to try and find a member of staff and found the opening times for snack bar, lunch restaurant, dinner restaurant and bar quite confusing. "This hotel was exceptional! Beautiful views, amazing staff & service. Everyone greets you and helps you. The pool is gorgeous and overlooks the sea. The room was perfect. I could not recommend more. Even their restaurant was good! I suggest having a car there though, so you can travel at your leisure. They were able to call taxis for other guests, but renting a car was the best for me. We were able to pick up and go as we please. "
