"First impressions were place felt a little musty and it was very cold - travelled in march and it was unusually rainy. However , we liked there was plenty of space and felt sad we wouldn't be able to use the sun terrace. They had mobile heaters in the property and kept on constantly they did take the chill out of the air. "Pros: We loved the space, having everything you may need for your stay, kitchen stuff, good quality towels, even a welcome wine and cookies!!! Owners were great. Well organized and responsive. Tous les lits sont une torture : matelas complètement affaissés, structures dures sans lattes (cf. photo), et oreillers de très mauvaise qualité, fins, inconfortables, presque inutilisables. Résultat : torticolis, nuits blanches, impossible de se reposer. À ce niveau de prix, c’est une honte.Et dès notre arrivée, le ton était donné : pas de capsules de café, pas une seule bouteille d’eau, et pas assez de rouleaux de papier toilette...

"The Hidden Gem flat in Alfama was perfect for us. Small, but not cramped, bright and airy, and exceptionally clean. The bonus was a washing machine. It was walkable to most areas and surrounded by lovely restaurants and Fado clubs. We had a few communication glitches, but all was resolved by check-in time. I would definitely recommend the Hidden Gem in Alfama to family and friends."
