Ivy cottage is a modern large one bedroom cottage built to the latest and highest standards, completed in July 2013. Ivy cottage is situated on the private Auchendennan estate at the south west end of Loch Lomond. within walking distance of the Cruin, Cameron House hotel, and duck bay marina wedding venues and just a short car journey from Luss and Boturich Castle. This cottage is ideal for those wanting short breaks away or if you are attending local weddings.

The cottage is open plan with a King Double Bed and in the living area there is a two seater sofa, wood burning stove, 32 inch SMART TV with FREEVIEW package. The modern kitchen has all the latest facilities for self catering and the property has free WiFi.

The patio doors open up to a fantastic elevated garden view where you can sit out in the sun on your own doorstep or use the communal sun decking / BBQ area situated by the mill pond.

Perfect for our 1 night stay

The customer service for our 1 night stay couldn't have been any better, so easy to book, kept very well informed and it how to get in to the property and when it was ready. The place was clean and well done for a small space the bed was very comfy and the shared garden was excellent. We had a great time. Thank you.

A beautiful location & cottage

My husband and I stayed here with our golden retriever for a last minute overnight stay, and despite the weather being less than ideal (Scotland in November, what can you do?) we had an amazing time at this cottage. The grounds of the property are beautiful and very easy to find. The cottage was really well equipped with everything you'd need, from pots and pans to things like tea and coffee. The bed was so comfortable, and the surrounding area is very quiet, despite being near the main road. I had the best night's sleep I've had in months. It's rare to find such high quality accommodation that's dog friendly, and this delivered in shed loads. They even had spare dog towels which is such a great touch. Everything was really well communicated and the check-in/out process was easy. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone.

Truly home from home now.

Having stayed at Auchendennan a few weeks previously when booking a seaplane flight decided to stay there again. The seaplane flight was cancelled due to inclement weather but I wasn't too disappointed as I had a lovely night in Ivy Cottage which had a wonderful log burner, very efficient and left the next day feeling truly refreshed and with so much energy. Now I have booked another seaplane flight in spring and look forward to going home to I've Cottage...truly now home from home.

We booked out every property for our wedding guests in April and we would highly recommend Auchendennan Farm. Angela, James and the whole team are so kind, helpful and relaxed. Every property was in super condition, clean, the location is fantastic and we would definitely return for our own holiday!
