Lovely villa
Check in and communication really easy - all queries dealt with efficiently and helpfully. Great villa for a big family group like ours. Beaches close by and a very handy supermarket.

Large villa
The house is a very comfortable space for a large group of people. There were 11 people in our group. The kitchen and the outdoor grill were perfect for our needs and of course the pool was fantastic! It is fairly close to some really lovely beaches. It would be nice to have basic supplies when one arrives. Such as dish washing liquid,dishwasher detergent, bathroom hand soap, paper towels and spray cleaner for the counters. It would be nice to have 1-2 beach umbrellas and a few beach chairs and a cooler. We bought all that and left them at the house for others to enjoy. When you have a large group it is not feasible (money wise) to rent beach loungers every day. I hope this doesn’t prevent anyone from staying here, it just needs a little tweaking!

Thank you for your comments. We have already added some basic supplies (dishwasher liquid, spray cleaner) to the ones we've always offered (hand soap, dishwasher tablets), according to your suggestion. As for beach equipment, we will have parasols available on request. Improving our guests'experience is a motto for us.

Summer stay 2022
Lovely villa, huge and spacious, had everything we needed. Local area (Budens) a bit run down. Two lovely local restaurants (O’Tiago’s and Pizza D’Aldeia), but told everything else that was shown on our phone maps had closed over the previous 2-3 years. Outstanding beaches up and down the coast from 5 mins drive away. Overall had a fantastic stay.

Férias em Budens
A casa é ótima, tem muito espaço e um terraço fabuloso. A cozinha está bem equipado e tem dois frigoríficos que é ótimo para férias. Apenas duas notas gostaria de deixar: Embora existam muitos WCs, infelizmente não funcionam tão bem como deveriam - água quente difícil de ter em mais de um wc ao mesmo tempo e a água tem Pouquíssima pressão em todos, inclusive no wc do master bedroom. É fatal o “cabo” do wc principal - temos que nos baixar para conseguir passar o duche na cabeça pois o cabi é muito curta! Apenas é possível ter Wi-Fi na sala. Numa casa tão grande seria de considerar aumentar a conectividade. Gostámos muito da casa mas para o valor cobrado cremos que pelo menos a questão dos wcs tem que ser mesmo resolvida.

Hidden gem!
We were a party of 11 adults and 2 young children. This villa suited our needs perfectly. It is very spacious and has a warm ‘family home’ feel about it. We couldn’t rate it highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to anyone who wants a relaxing, chilled out holiday. We can’t thank you enough for our stay in Budens! The only negative for us, was having to leave!!

Vacances au village
Très belle et grande maison, bien entretenue surtout à l' extérieur. On est d' emblée frappés par la solide construction et l' architecture originale avec ses voûtes en briques. Le jardin est très agréable avec piscine, pelouse bien verte, arbres fruitiers, un bassin mauresque et des terrasses ombragées. Bien que située au centre du village, il y fait très calme. On n' entend que les cloches de la petite église qui marquent les heures, le claxon du poissonnier tous les matins. Il y a une boulangerie juste au coin de la rue pour les croissants et le pain frais des petits déjeuners. Il y a de très belles plages à quelques km, notre préférée ayant été celle de Salema. Le seul inconvénient de cette région d' Algarve est le vent qui souffle parfois très fort en fin de journée mais nous avons eu la chance d' une semaine de chaleur. Malgré quelques améliorations à faire, notamment dans la cuisine et la salle de bain du rez-de-chaussée cette maison est à recommander pour des vacances au village et au calme.

Very Satisfied, great house in great location -
Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. We had a number of family members coming from various different countries so it was important that we chose a fairly large property that was in a good location. Budens is relatively quiet but it is located very close to the beaches, Lagos and not too far from Portimão. So you have the small town feel, but access to everything you might want. Having the supermarket in town was fantastic! The house was very roomy and clean. The pool was very nice, although very cold :-). There were no cleaning supplies, at least that we could find, no additional toilet paper, or trash bags (or instructions on how to get rid of the trash) which would have been nice. Not sure if that is standard in Europe, but it didn’t prevent us from really enjoying ourselves. We also didn’t get enough towels, but we made do. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely highly recommend.

Maravillosas vacaciones!
La casa es fantastica, con todo el sabor de una casa antigua, pero perfectamente conservada. Es muy grande, con mil recovecos que hicieron que nuestros niños pasaran unos dias inolvidables. Todas las estancias son muy amplias y están muy limpias y cuidadas. El jardin, la piscina y la zona de barbacoa son muy agradables también. Por poner un "pero", la piscina cubre poco y no está señalizado, podria ser peligroso al saltar si no se ve antes. La comunicacion con Adão fue perfecta, atento a nuestra estancia en todo momento. La casa está en medio del pueblo, por lo que se puede ir a pie al supermercado, a la panaderia (tiene unos panes buenisimos), y dar un paseo por las callecitas del pueblo, muy tranquilo y agradable. En conclusión: nos encantaría repetir!

Super séjour dans cette magnifique maison!
Notre séjour a été fantastique ! Nous avons reçu tout d'abord un très bel accueil de la part des propriétaires, qui étaient très gentils, disponibles et flexibles. Nous avons reçu des conseils non-négligeables sur les activités à faire dans la région. La maison est un petit coin de paradis: très bien agencé, très spacieuse, calme sans être isolée (commerces et restos à quelques pas) et très bien située pour visiter l'Algarve. Elle est décorée avec goût et a tout l'équipement nécessaire pour y passer de très belles vacances, il ne manquait absolument rien. Nous étions 13, et tous, adultes, ados et enfants, ont adoré ces vacances! Concernant la région, il faut juste prévoir des pulls pour le soir car c'est assez venteux. Nous recommandons à 100% cette maison, quant à nous, nous n'hésiterons pas y revenir!

Uma casa de família para férias em família|
Uma casa de família que beneficiou de uma intervenção de qualidade e bom gosto, torna-se num espaço de excelência para férias em família. Os impactos positivos começam logo a chegada quando somos recebidos pela Estela e pelo Adão. Mostram-nos com manifesto prazer uma casa cheia de espaços e recantos, capaz de abrigar sem dificuldade os 14 elementos da família. A qualidade é também patente nos electrodomésticos (2 frigoríficos garantem as necessidades de todos), loiça em abundância e no conforto das camas, super importante para um bom descanso. E poderia ficar por aqui. Mas acho que é importante tentar deixar nota do tão extraordinário ambiente que encontrei. Faço férias neste modelo há mais de 10 anos e esta casa, foi para mim, o espaço mais bem conseguido de todos os que já visitei. Pela envolvência exterior, pelo jardim, piscina e espaço de convívio num páteo acolhedor, pelo interior com uma recuperação muito bem conseguida pelo arquiteto que a assegurou. Esta é a opinião geral da família depois de uma semana na Casa da Palmeira. Os nossos agradecimentos à Estela e ao Adão por terem este espaço tão cuidado e de que podemos usufruir!

super schön! tolle lage, sehr sehr ruhig
toller aufenthalt - lediglich die ungedämpften türen waren sehr laut, aber ansonsten ein echt schöner ort. ein klitzekleines minus ist auch, dass zu beginn kein spüli, keine spülmaschinentabs, etc da waren. ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die kommunikation mit vermieter und haushälterin hat super funktioniert… und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Entspannter Urlaub
Tolle Lage mitten in Budens. Sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Haus. Wir kamen erst gegen 22 Uhr an, kein Problem, Haushälterin war da. Super leckeres portugiesisches Restaurant um die Ecke. Wer einfach die Ruhe genießen will ist hier genau richtig.

Traumhafte Villa mitten in Budens
Diese Villa ist wirklich ein außergewöhnliches Schmuckstück, sie befindet sich mitten im alten Teil von Budens. Sie hat eine maurisch beeinflusste Architektur und die Räume und der Innenhof haben eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Sie ist riesengroß und ist perfekt für eine Gruppe, da man große Gemeinschaftsräume hat und sich trotzdem jeder mal zurückziehen kann. Die Vermieter sind wirklich sehr nett. Wir sind begeistert!

ein Haus mit allem was man braucht
Das Haus ist grosszügig angelegt, bietet viel Platz und die Küche ist sehr gwirklich gut ausgestattet. Es gibt 2 Terrassen und einen gut eingerichteten Gartenbereich mit grossem Essplatz und kleiner Lounge, somit war bei einem Aufenthalt mit 2 Familien auch die Möglichkeit gegeben sich zurück ziehen zu können. Ebenso gibt es genügende Liegen am Pool und Schattenmöglichkeiten und somit keine Streitereien ;) Der Billardtisch war ein grosses Vergnügen für alle und bei schlechterem Wetter sehr willkommen. Im Ort selbst gibt es in Gehdistanz einen Supermarkt mit gutem Angebot und eine Pizzeria, die sehr gut ist. Die mehr als 20 Strände in unter 20 Minuten Fahrstrecke waren wunderbar, in 2 Wochen, haben wir es nicht geschafft, alle zu sehen Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen

Boa escolha.
7 dias passados na casa da Palmeira. 6 adultos e 6 crianças, uma delas um bebé com 5 meses. Sobraram quartos. A casa tem um grande potencial, é enorme mas acolhedora. Espaço interior agradável, espaço exterior tem tudo o que se pode esperar numa casa de férias. Tempo passado com muita qualidade. Checkin não correu bem, apesar dos esforços para anteciparem a entrada, devido a termos solicitado por termos um bebé, na verdade ainda nos entregaram a casa mais tarde que o previsto, apesar da boa vontade demonstrada. E de facto não parece haver razão para atrasos pois no nosso dia de saída as funcionárias entraram na pripriedade às 9:00h. De resto, uma ou outra questão que surgiu foi sempre prontamente resolvida. De realçar proprietário e funcionários sempre contactaveis e disponíveis. Lugar tranquilo mas muito central em relação aos serviços existentes e praias. As praias são uma maravilha. Natureza pura! Peixeiro e fruteiro itenerantes, vêm fornecer a Budens. Restaurante "Tiago", recomendo vivamente. Sugiro apenas melhor coordenação com idas do jardineiro para manutenção do jardim. Gostámos muito no geral.

De facto, no que respeita ao horário do check in, a situação de pandemia que vivemos obrigou-nos a rever procedimentos e a adotar novas medidas que levaram algum tempo a otimizar. Tolles Haus!
Sehr schönes Herrschaftshaus mit allem was es braucht. Der Garten geniesst Dank der Mauern und Büsche angenehme Privatsphäre. Ist super geeignet für grössere Gruppen. Wir waren 11 Personen und es hatte ausreichend Platz für alle. Schade, dass wir nur 1 Woche in diesem tollen Haus verbringen konnten. Kommen gerne wieder!

Perfect stay and lovely people !!
The house was perfect for us (3 couples, 3 children and 2 babies) : it’s huge, well equiped (including for babies), and well situated in Algarve. It’s situated in a quiet lovely town with Intermarché at 5 min walk, far from the crowded places but not too far from the places you want to visit (Lagos 15 min drive, west coast 30 min drive, Cap Sin Vincente 20 min drive, Sagres 15 min drive...). As well the beaches close to the house are really beautiful and you have a lot of choices 5/10 min car around. Estela (the house owner) is very friendly, helpful and reactive. She managed to fix some little troubles during our stay very quickly and in a friendly manner. Fatima (the house keeper) is very nice, she really made our holidays perfect, she came everyday to help to clean the house and prepare the cooking which was super helpful as we were a lot of people in ! She also gave us really good tips for visiting. I really recommend this place. What I would suggest is to invest in a system to make the swimming pool hot as the water was very cold even in the middle of august whereas the sun was there all day long ! The kids were sometimes very cold 5 min after entering the water which was disappointing for all of us. Only thing I would pimp up, otherwise everything was very nice !!!! Thanks again Estela and Fatima, we would definitively recommend and come back !

Thank you very much for your nice comment, which is an incentive for us to do always better. This sumer was pretty uncommon (too windy and the temperatures way below what we are used to), which inevitably had its efect on the temperature of the water in the swimming pool. Yet, we welcome your suggestion and will analyse possible options to heat the pool.

Casa espectacular
Somos duas famílias (muito) numerosas que há vários anos passamos férias pela costa Vicentina. O que eu destacaria nesta casa eram as suas dimensões muito generosas, o número de quartos e casas de banho, o jardim maravilhoso com piscina e baloiços, para além de uma area de “lounge” espectacular. A padaria literalmente ao lado do portão de entrada com pão quente logo pela manhã é outra vantagem, vem como a proximidade do Intermarché. Budens está a 15min da Cordoama o que para nós é outra grande vantagem. A melhorar diria apenas que a cozinha precisava de uma remodelação, e modernização. Alguns móveis já estão inchados de humidade e equipamentos claramente a precisar de renovação. De qualquer maneira passámos umas ferias fantásticas e recomendamos vivamente para grupos e famílias.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist wirklich schön und es fehlt nichts Wichtiges.
Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal. Zu späterer Stunde kann es mal etwas lauter werden, da in unmittelbarer Nähe eine Bar ist. Ebenfalls etwas laut sind die herumstromernden Hunde... Sonst ist das Haus allerdings sehr wohnlich und man fühlt sich wirklich wohl!!
