Fantastic stay
We had a wonderful first holiday with our 2 month old at the apartment - it was well equipped, very clean and a great location. Parking outside was ideal and communication with the owner and property manager were both excellent. We would love to stay again.

Great stay with husband and friends. Close to all amenities. Excellent communication with owner. Property a little tired, shower in downstairs bathroom water was extremely slow in running away. The owner made up for the slight niggles we had.

Spotless spacious apartment
Great comms with owner from start. Cleaned twice in week - spotless. Kitchen fully equipped. Great private space with master bedroom, kitchen and lounge opening onto patio area and pool. We had a fantastic relaxing time. Very quiet location about 15 minute walk to parca and the restaurants (not a lot open currently but every meal lovely).

Lovely property
The property itself was all that it advertised and in a very good location. Good privacy at the pool. Comfortable and nice modern bathrooms. Unfortunately the property above was being refurbished the week we were staying and the drilling etc started just after 8am and finished around 5pm. This was not conducive to a relaxing holiday and we would suggest anyone renting this type of property in VDL asks beforehand re any building work taking place nearby!

Paul. Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry that you had an unsatisfactory stay. I’m disappointed however that you felt this was a 1 star property, I do not think the photos are misleading. In the last 18 months we have started the modernisation with brand new bathrooms, new ac / heating units, smart tv, soft furnishings and stocked the kitchen. The low rate for the winter season reflects that some of the outside amenities may not be usable and weather changeable. We will look to update paintwork before the spring. Many thanks. Ed

Lovely well located apartment
This two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is very well located on the VDL resort. The apartment was spotless and well appointed. The outside area is a good size with quality garden furniture. The communication with Edward was excellent and the check-in & key collection very straightforward with very friendly and helpful service. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment!
We have just returned from a week staying at Ed’s lovely apartment. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice! It’s super spacious, the layout is excellent, and the pool area outside is ideal! The position is great, we were under a 20mins walk from both Maria’s and Vale do Lobo beaches, what more could you want?! Ed was brilliant to deal with, all the instructions were super clear and communication was very quick. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or to return, thank you Ed!

Home from home in paradise
We've just returned from an incredible stay at this property. Right from booking, the owner was in contact with answers to my questions, and in advance of our stay provided an excellent guide to the whole property and process. On arrival the property exceeded our expectations. It is bigger than the pictures suggest, with a fabulous sized garden and pool area. Perfect for the three of us to chill out and cool off. There are sun loungers and thick towels provided, as well as some pool toys. It is clean and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen has every type of crockery and cutlery to do as much or as little cooking as you like. It has a full sized fridge freezer, washer, dishwasher, microwave, hob and oven. The kitchen window opens up into a bar hatch for the garden which we loved! The two bedrooms are well separated from each other if people need their privacy - both with an adjacent bathroom / shower room. One has a few steps down into the main living space. There is a huge wardrobe and drawers in both rooms, and the twin beds are comfortable. One room has doors opening onto the patio but we kept these closed - it meant we didn't need any air conditioning on, even though it was available. The living / dining room is light, bright and spacious, with big solid tables in both spaces to accommodate indoor dining. The location is blissfully quiet and private. There are no other villas windows overlooking the patio area, and everything has been designed for maximum privacy. We sunbathed and splashed about with no worries about disturbing anyone. The gardens surrounding the property are lush and full of beautiful birds too, providing a great backdrop. For things to do, you can wander around the resort to your hearts content - tennis and golf are in plentiful supply and we enjoyed the upmarket beach area. We hired a car which we could park directly at the front door, and used this to explore the area, as well as for shopping at the nearby minimarket and further away supermarket. The owner helped with directions and recommendations for all of this. We really can't recommend this property highly enough, and hope to return one day. Its a real home from home with a soul, not your standard holiday let, and a real credit to the owner.

Extremely Comfortable and Well Appointed Villa
My wife and I have stayed in Ed's villa probably as many as 10 times which says everything. Over that period Ed has upgraded the villa to its current high standard including the recent installation of a new aircon system. Furnishings and fittings are tasteful and of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Spacious and airy villa with great facilities. Perfect for our needs. Close to beach and facilities.
The living space was really well set out and perfect for this couple and grown up daughter. Plenty of privacy with the bedrooms being on different levels. Pool was sufficient for cooling down and a splash around - another couple of sunbeds would be useful. Area around villa is picturesque and well maintained. BBQ provided and supermarket 5 minute drive away. Walk to beach is pleasant and there are bars and restaurants near the beach. Would recommend.

A little gem!
Just back from a wonderful 12 nights in VDL. Such a spacious and well equipped apartment that feels more like a villa due to the outside space. We made full use of the pool, terrace and BBQ! Great value for money compared to other apartments we viewed prior to booking. Ed was very helpful throughout the booking and arrival process and we would be very happy to recommend.

Wonderful apartment for family trip
We stayed here for 5 days with our young daughter in May and had a wonderful time. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed, with lovely modern bathrooms, and the pool terrace is perfect for relaxing with a book! The location is great, walking distance to lots of fantastic restaurants and bars and only a short drive from Loulé. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely, well designed and well equipped villa in a great location
We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The layout and spacious design really suited us. We particularly appreciated the convenience of the kitchen serving access to the terrace though the large window, the recently refurbished terrace furniture as well as the pool itself. We had a lovely week making the most of the facilities offered by the villa as well as those provided by the Vale do Lobo resort. Brilliant Villa
We loved our stay at the villa. We were two couples with a baby each and the villa bedrooms being split over 2 levels really helped us. Edward was great with contact and it was really helpful that we could check in early and check out later because of flight times. The villa was perfect and a great location the shop, clubhouse and Praca were all a 20 minute walk away. The only thing we would improve if we could would be an extra two sunbeds as they only had 2. Other than that this is a great villa for the price.

Fabulous location and very comfortable ground floor appartment
We made the most of the lovely area, walked to the beach restaurants, dined at the smart local golf club, drove to pretty picturesque villages and relaxed by the pool in our private patio. We particularly liked the quiet and secluded outlook from the apartments patio area and appreciated the barbecue for alfresco dining. The airy bedrooms and open plan dining area suited our needs well, and the two newly refurbished bathrooms added a touch of luxury for our holiday.

Whilst spacious and very clean, and well laid out with a nice small pool, there were lots of areas where the property failed us and lessened the enjoyment of our holiday - the air con wasn't working and the bedrooms were stifling, ants were invading, paint was peeling on the outside and inside, kitchen appliances were old and didn't work properly, there was a lack of kitchen utensils, even basic ones - if you were planning to eat every meal out this may not be a problem, but we planned to eat in a lot and found it lacking in many areas. There were attempts to fix some of these things whilst we were there, and we've provided a comprehensive list of the issues we found to the owner and I'm sure these are easily rectified.

I am grateful for the feedback from our guest who stayed at the end of the summer. Our agents were at hand to address any immediate concerns the guests had during their trip and maintenance teams have addressed the most pressing issues. While I believe some of the 'tiredness' was due to wear and tear over a busy summer period I concede that some of the property is in need of updating. A schedule to works has been drafted that will include a replacement of both bathrooms and all the kitchen appliances over the winter of 2017/18. New pictures will be uploaded when these works have been complete.

Peace, quiet and relaxation.
We had a lovely week in this duplex. It is much more spacious than it appears on the photos. The décor is pale and neutral giving an atmosphere of tranquillity. The cleaners do an excellent job – the place was immaculate when we arrived. The pool terrace is large and there is a choice of sun or shade all day – whichever is your preference. The terrace is not overlooked and the views up the hillside are lovely. We were the only ones in the block of three apartments – it was so peaceful and quiet (and this was in August!). The beds are very comfortable with excellent quality linen. Pool towels were also provided thus saving luggage space. The aircon is very efficient although we only used it on the first night. We realised that the apartment would keep cool without any intervention. It was handy having fly screens on the doors and windows to facilitate airflow with no bugs flying in. Parking is very handy just outside the front door. All in all a lovely spot for relaxing.

Great location and facilities!
This property benefits from being within walking distance of the Praca, beaches and facilities of Vale Do Lobo. The property is easy to find and is presented in a a very nice way. The living area is great, benefitting from digital TV including Sky. A fully fitted kitchen is accessible from both the main living rooms and also the terrace. Both bedrooms are of a very generous size, as are the bathrooms - particularly the family bathroom. The outside terrace and plunge pool are gorgeous and definitely benefit from long hours of sunshine. The owner, Ed, provided excellent communication and speedy response, as did the management company. A little gem in VDL.

We had a lovely long weekend in this villa! I have been going to VDL for over 30 years, and I absolutely love the resort. This villa was great- no parking issues- which can be a problem closer to the square. Great facilities, and having our own pool was an added bonus. Highly recommended and we hope to be back soon! Great holiday!
Had a great holiday, the apartment was very clean and had all the basics we needed for our stay. Maybe some aspects of the apartment mainly the bathrooms could do with updating a bit (hence 4 star) but the kitchen had all we needed and great to have wifi and good choice of TV channels. The swimming pool and outside area was nice and clean and the pool was certainly warm enough for our 2 boys to play in. Location wise, the resort is lovely, very clean and security do regularly patrol however the overall feel of the resort felt very safe. The apartment is located 5 mins from the Tennis academy so we regularly went up and used the pool there. There is a charge but you get a voucher to use at the cafe so we ate there on a lunchtime which was fine. The beach is a good walk, think it's about a mile so probably took us about 25 minutes with our 2 young boys but it's not too bad just quite a hike coming back on a night as all uphill. The supermarket was about a 30 minute walk from the apartment too. We didn't hire a car and did manage without one as used taxis instead but they are expensive if just nipping to the supermarket so we would recommend a car if you don't want to walk a lot and particularly handy for the shops. We walked on a night down to the beach to eat at the restaurants which were busy so you need to book when it's peak season. Great choice of food, a few bouncy castles for the kids after, all very family friendly and usually live music. Overall loved the holiday, will definitely be back next year!

Large property with plenty of space . A home from home.
First time we have stayed in vale do lobo and it was a great experience. Edward made the process easy so we knew exactly what to expect on arrival. The villa was large and cool and had everything you would need and more to be comfortable. The outside space was great. We stayed out of season so the pool was a little cold but we had bbq every evening and it was really peaceful which is exactly what we wanted. Would recommend this villa for families or couples who want to relax and get away from it all.

Schönes Appartment in guter Lage
Hie und da ein wenig abgewohntes Mobiliar, dennoch eine insgesamt hübsche und gut gelegenen Wohnung. Küchenausstattung sehr gut, nur eine - für Deutsche so wichtige - echte Kaffeemaschine fehlte. Behelf mit Bodum Coffeemaker war akzeptabel. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn das ‚obere‘ Schlafzimmer neben dem grossen Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche für uns 2 Personen hergerichtet (bezogen) gewesen wäre. So sind wir halt zum Duschen etc immer die Treppe rauf. Hält fit 🙂. Es war schön und wir können diese Wohnung guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Wir können die Wohnung als geräumig beschreiben, die Lage ist gut, kurze Wege zum Strand, sie befindet sich in einem Golf Resort, daher sehr gepflegt. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist nicht ganz so umfangreich, uns fehlte vor allem die Kaffemaschine. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte leider nicht, dadurch war uns teilweise sehr kalt. Dennoch würden wir die Wohnung wieder mieten. Kontakt und Übergabe liefen super ab, viele nette Infos durch den Vermieter.

A casa é muito bem situada em VDL, tem uma exposição solar excelente, muito bem equipada e a envolvente de vegetação é maravilhosa. O terraço virado a Sul, com a piscina e o BBQ proporcionam momentos inesquecíveis em família. Passamos duas semanas fantásticas. A envolvente de jardins e natureza permitem passeios a pé extraordinários e tanto a praia do Garrao como a de VDL são acessíveis com uma agradável caminhada de 15 min. Acresce segurança e vigilância 24 horas e um serviço de limpeza 5 estrelas, tanto em simpatia como profissionalismo. O proprietário forneceu de forma muito diligente toda a informação necessária de modo a que a nossa estadia tenha sido perfeita. Esperamos voltar!
