Alghero is a gem of a town in Sardinia, surrounded by beautiful nature: sandy beaches, coves and pine forests.. We went there at the end of September and the weather was warm enough to swim, without the crowds. The sun was not scorching, so it was doable to rent bikes and cycle along the hilly but tranquil roads overlooking the sea. The views were gorgeous, especially going North of Alghero up to Capo Caccia (about 25 km). #beach #bicycle

Great hotel in a very nice area. Great beach and pool. Nice evening entertainment. Amazing staff. The only complaint is that they close outside area during breakfast and force people to sit inside. Overall, a very nice experience though and would stay again!

We can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. We are experienced travellers and this hotel is a standout. Location and beach are perfect. We went to several other beaches miles away and found this beach to the best. Breakfast is very good with lots of fresh fruit and pastries. The staff were all helpful. Short drive to town with tons of restaurant choice. The room ( sea view) is a tad small but cute with a lovely view. Sad to leave.

This hotel is in amazing area and perfect beach. Food at the restaurant was one of the best we tried in Sardinia. Next to the hotel are more beaches walking distance and with a small hike. My only complain was the bedroom, we had junior suite with ocean view which was amazing but the bed was bad and is cover with a plastic to protect the mattress which causes a lot of heat, also bathroom a little uncomfortable. Just for the price room could be a little bit better.

Nice Setting, But Disappointing Stay The hotel’s private beach is a big plus, especially in Sardinia during peak season. The pool is beautiful, and the beach and pool staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our suite was swarming with mosquitoes and had cobwebs throughout. It felt more like a basement unit than a premium room. While we were moved to a better room on the last night, it wasn’t enough to improve the overall experience. Breakfast was repetitive and buffet-style, which I found unhygienic. The restaurant food was average, overpriced, and also served buffet-style on two nights. If you stay here, rent a car—there are much better local dining options nearby. This hotel might suit older guests or families who prefer quiet evenings, as everything shuts down after 10 PM. We won’t be returning—Sardinia is stunning, but this hotel didn’t live up to expectations.

The staff was very friendly and responsive. Although the property was clean, the beach is nothing like they show on their site. The beach is extremely small and is surrounded by rocks of both sides. We were hoping to stay at a resort with a beach that Sardinia is known for... this was not the place to experience that.

A beautiful hotel and property, with a fantastic staff. The private beach is perfect along with the pool area. The food in the breakfast buffet, and its location was a nice way to start the day. In my opinion this is thee place to stay if travelling to Alghero. We got upgraded to a beach side main floor room with a spacious patio and really appreciated that!! As with a lot of Italian hotels, we didn't have a coffee maker in the room, so that wasn't a big deal considering all the benefits of staying here. From what I understand we could have had a tea kettle and tea brought to the room, but we're Canadians and we love our coffee, lol!!

That is a hidden gem in Alghero area with its beautiful private beach and clear water. My wife and I have enjoyed our stay for sure. Pros: - Amazing beach which is the most important thing for us - Wonderful view from our ocean view room - Very friendly and helpful staff very well trained from front desk to bars, restaurants and house keeping - Renovated bathroom with great waterfall shower head - Great service - Mice pool - Cleanliness - Proximity to Alghero down town which is great for sight seeing and local experiences Cons: - Bed and mattress were uncomfortable due to double bed and not king size. - No complimentary Nespresso machine in room - No room service after certain time - Not too many food options. Most likely you will want to try surrounding restaurants Would advise to rent a car and have it with you so you can drive around easily if you need to go somewhere and most likely you will for dinning, excursions...etc. We did that and it was very helpful. Will we do it again. Definitely yes!

Amazing stay at Hotel dei Pini for 4 nights in October with variety of activities to do and many options in the restaurant. Seaview/beach access room: clean and organized well, good lighting and a lovely patio with easy access to the beach. Quiet throughout the night. Restaurant: Breakfast buffets available daily with a decent amount of suitable options. Dinner was great with many options, as well as a Mediterranean buffet on Monday. We skipped lunch, but enjoyed some drinks at the bar in the afternoons. Beach side: the beach is beautiful and has clear water, with mostly soft sand and some rocky terrain around. Recliner beach chaise (chairs) were available often, even though some other guests would sometimes put towels to hold them up. Great view of the sunrise. Water activities available beach side: -Kayaking: available for single and doubles. This was fun with many views around the coast and great for any beginner! -Motorized Boat: fits 3 people well, up to 4 comfortably. We rented the boat for 4 hours and traveled around the coast to the Capo Caccia and Isola di Foradada. We were instructed on how to operate the boat and all safety measures prior to leaving. Plenty of time to sightsee, as well as to take a dip in the waters. Pool: clean waters and not so busy because most guests rather go to the beach. Great view of the sunset. Poolside drinks/snacks available to order. Overall, amazing experience and well worth every minute of it! 5/5 would recommend!

Beautiful hotel with awesome views right on the beach. Loved lounging by the sea, swimming, eating delicious breakfast with a view, and the view from our room. Highly recommend!

Amazing hotel, very quiet our room was on the beach front and all amenities were easy to access. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Beautiful hotel, the beach is stunning with the clearest sea you'll see! The rooms are great - especially the sea view rooms - and pool is a real gem
