The property has a balcony with impeccable views of the ocean and surrounding town. We sat outside every morning and evening to relax. The sunsets are breath taking. The apartment was clean and had air conditioning that we used at night. Federica the manager was wonderful and suggested great places to eat. She was helpful and was there when we arrived. I recommend this place so much !!

Great summer break
First of all let me just address the 'elephant in the room' this is not a 'Penthouse' as it has been described, as there is an apartment above it. That said it is nicely fitted out & furnished, the kitchenette is small so if you come on holiday to cook meals for your family you would perhaps struggle & the addition of a kettle would have been welcome (we Brits love our tea whatever the weather!). Just 2 mins walk from a decent sized supermarket we got everything we needed without having to resort to using the car. Plenty of restaurants nearby, fairly mixed quality but our evening at Enhorabona was unsurpassed for food quality. The beach opposite is reasonable & convenient but it is fair to say there are much better ones just a short drive away. Overall we were very happy in the property.

First of all my apartment is a Penthouse. In Italy there are "attico" (penultimate floor) and "superattico" (top floor). Maybe in English you don't make distinction. Regards

We have been travelling for over a month and we recently stayed in this apartment for 4 nights - it was the best accommodation we have had during our time away (hotels included) - the apartment was clean and comfortable with a great view that more than matched the photos - it was also well provisioned (eg toilet paper) unlike some other places we stayed in - the host was very helpful and available - we would certainly stay here again if in Alghero and highly recommend it

We had a lovely stay at this lovely apartment! The apartment is very spacious, clean and modern. Gabriele was helpful and quick to reply. We have been to Alghero several times as we love the place, and the people are so friendly. We will definitely be back!! As a quick tip... If you find yourself at a loose end with luggage and a long wait for your flights, there's a place across the road that can hold your luggage for 5 euros a piece. :)

I never wanted to leave
the location of Big Garibaldi is perfect for beaches as well as shopping and sightseeing. Only a short walk to Old Town and the city walls, it is also close to many Spiaggia. Two well-stocked grocery stores are just around the corner and the outstanding restaurant Sa Mesa is between them. Big Garibaldi is a beautiful apartment with many amenities. The spacious balcony looks out on the bay and Capo Caccia in the distance and is where we spent many an hour enjoying the local Sella & Mosca wines and wonderful food we picked up. I would definitely return!

We were not disappointed!
We stayed for 2 weeks. Apartment is spacitious, modern and perfectly located. Air conditioning very welcome! View from the balcony stunning! Wanted for nothing really the whole time we were there. Gabriele was very helpful. Apartment is a 10-15 minute walk from the old town which was perfect for a pre and post dinner walk. We loved the apartment being right opposite the beach - makes life easy when you want to pop back for lunch, a drink or the loo! Alghero has something for most, beaches, history, good eating and other facilities. Recommend a car so you can explore a bit further afield. Our only suggestion is that if Gabriele has guests staying for 2 weeks that towels and bedding are changed at the half way point. Other than that we would definitely recommend.

The balcony had a lovely wiew, but it was very noisy, a lot of traffic. We would have liked a dishwasher. And there were no space to make dinner in the kitchen. We had a wonderful stay. Hanne

You chose an apartment on the most famous promenade of Alghero, in the city center. July high season.. Don't you think it's normal to hear cars from the terrace? The table is in the living room, in front of the kitchen.. as you can see from the pictures.

Great location
From start to finish the renting of this apartment went smoothly. Our host met us as arranged and communication was efficient and clear. The apartment has been newly renovated and is well equipped and clean. There were only 2 of us and the apartment would easily cater for 2 couples, but six adults might be a bit overcrowded. There is a great balcony overlooking the beach and it is in easy walking distance to the old town, good restaurants and a supermarket. Having a car is not essential but the town and surrounding areas are easy to drive and there is undercover parking. We found it a great place to explore Alghero and the region around.

Amazing views and appartment
This appartment is perfect for anyone exploring Alghero and the surrounding area. It's location is central between the old and new town and there are numerous restaurants, the beach and even a well stocked supermarket with easy walking distance. We particularly enjoyed our morning walk around the city walls as well as many magnificent sunsets from the large terrace. We had hired a car and ventured to the national parks for forest walks and cliff top views as well as the 'not to be missed' trip to the Sella & Mosca vineyard and shop. The appartment itself was very clean and spacious and we had everything we needed. Gabriele was extremely helpful in the lead up to our holiday and everything went very smoothly.

Je vais être honnête, l’appartement est beau, bonne localisation, belle vue . Confortable même si certain équipement sont un peu bas de gamme comme par exemple un grille pain et une cafetière en plastique, on dirait des jouets pour enfants . Vaisselle très limitée. Parking un peu difficile d’accès . Mais le problème a été le propriétaire, il a dû intervenir pendant notre séjour car suite à une panne de courant l’air conditionné avait été déréglé. Ce n’est pas notre faute ni la sienne mais lorsque il est venu il a été très antipathique. Très froid. Bref j’ai rien dit . Le problème a été qu’il n’a pas voulu nous remettre notre garantie de 200€ pr plusieurs raison . -nous n’avions pas éteinds l’air conditionné avant de quitter le logement. Nous avions juste oublié dans une des chambres ! -Il nous a envoyé une photo des poubelles extérieur pas à l’intérieur de l’appartement en prétextant que nous n’avions pas respecté le tri des déchets alors ces poubelles n’étaient même pas à nous!! Nous avions tout vidé et bien trier avant de partir ! -Il nous a reproché d’avoir utilisé la troisième chambre (nous étions un couple et un enfant ) Excusez-moi mais j’ai payée 1600€ pour 6 nuits j’ai payé pr tt l’appartement pas juste pour 2 chambres , je n’ai jamais vu ça de ma vie !! - et le pire c’est qu’il nous a reproché d’avoir laisser la vaisselle (propre) sur l’évier. Alors que j’ai payé des frais de ménage !! Bref , je dis tt ça pour prévenir les gens. Honte à lui !!

Vous avez été les pires clients de l'année, vous avez laissé l'appartement dans des conditions très mauvaises et désastreuses. Vous avez aussi cassé un rideau dans la chambre. Vous avez créé le problème de climatisation en réglant la télécommande sur de mauvais réglages (symbole soleil = air chaud en plein été). Cela m'a amené à intervenir pour résoudre la situation. Plus de 75 avis avec une note moyenne de 4,9/5 parlent pour moi. Restez chez vous si vous n'avez aucun respect pour la maison des autres.

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit toller sehr großer Terrasse die förmlich zum weitblicken einlädt. Einzig der doch sehr laute Straßenlärm trübt dieses Vergnügen. Zum Prädikat Luxus fehlt eventuell ein Geschirrspüler Kaffeemaschine. Top war die sehr gute Kommunikation mit Mary von der Rezeption. Insgesamt ein sehr guter Startplatz für diverse Unternehmungen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage - aber sehr laut
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön: groß, gut eingerichtet und ausgestattet, sauber, die Terrasse ist groß und mit tollem Ausblick. Die Lage: Strand gegenüber, kurze Wege zu Supermärkten, Geldautomaten, Pizzerien und mehreren Strandbars, die Altstadt kann man zu Fuß in 10-15 Minuten über die Strandpromenade erreichen. Dafür würde ich tatsächlich gerne 5 Sterne vergeben haben. Allerdings liegt direkt unter der Terrasse ein vielbefahrener Kreisverkehr. Wenn ein Motorrad über den Kreisverkehr fährt - vorher lautstark herunterschaltet, im Kreisverkehr ordentlich Gas gibt, nach dem Kreisverkehr mit Vollgas wieder auf Geschwindigkeit kommt - ist es nicht möglich das eigene Gespräch fortzuführen. Wir haben im Vorfeld die Bewertungen gelesen, nur sehr wenige gehen auf den Verkehrslärm ein. Wir dachten, es würde schon nicht so schlimm sein, aber es ist viel lauter als befürchtet. Auch in der Vorsaison, auch in der Nacht, auch in den hinteren Zimmern, wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen möchte. Für den andauernden Verkehrslärm: Ein Stern Abzug. Der zweite Stern Abzug: Kurz vor Anreise - Stornierung/ Umbuchung war nur noch mit Verlust des gesamten Mietpreises möglich - informiert uns der Vermieter, Bauarbeiten seien im Gang - mit einem seitlichen Gerüst, keine Beeinträchtigung für den Ausblick von der Terrasse. Die seitliche Aussicht auf Alghero und den Hafen war nur durch das Baugerüst möglich, das direkt neben der Terrasse mit Brettern, Baumaterial und Gerätschaften belegt war. Der seitliche Balkon der Wohnung war blockiert durch das Gerüst, wenn man aus dem Schlafzimmer auf den Balkon trat schlug man sich den Kopf an. Im Treppenhaus lagen Baumaterialien und Gerätschaften. Samstag/ Sonntag kein großes Problem. Aber unter der Woche arbeiteten die Handwerker... Wir waren genau zweimal während der Arbeitszeiten in der Wohnung: auf der Terrasse starker Verkehrslärm, in der Wohnung Hämmern, Sägen, Kratzen, etc. von den Handwerkern im Stockwerk darüber. Der Baulärm übertönte sogar den Verkehrslärm. So möchte man seinen Urlaub nicht verbringen! Der Lärm war eigentlich unzumutbar, wir sind jeweils nach kürzester Zeit aus der Wohnung geflohen. Die zu späte und verharmlosende Information des Vermieters war nicht fair gegenüber uns, seinen Gästen. Zusammenfassend: Sehr schöne Wohnung, die wir leider nicht wirklich nutzen konnten. Wir haben die Situation mit Videos (Tonaufnahmen) dokumentiert.

Just to clarify: 1) You know the location of my apartment in advance, you can see the map BEFORE booking. I't s not a surprise. My apartment is located in the city center, most famous promenade in Alghero, sea front. Therefore you should expect some "noise" of course. Do you want total quiet? No problem, book an apartment in the bordertown or country area. Anyway, if you close the windows you can't hear anything beacuse it's perfectly soundproofed. 2) In the website is clearly written that I have an apartment in a Building Stock, so if THE CONDOMINIUM is doing some renovations I can't be responsable. What happens Outside is not my responsibility. I've informed you in advance about condominial works but you didn't answer anything. Regards

Bellissimo appartamento, comodo per due famiglie, un po’ lontano per raggiungere il centro a piedi ma comunque comodo e in posizione strategica. Il garage e il suo utilizzo rispecchia meno i canoni della comodità ma si può fare…. Questo è il secondo alloggio in cui soggiorno in Sardegna e anche in questo caso è imbarazzante la gestione dei rifiuti… anche perché viene comunicata unicamente all’arrivo nell’abitazione: si è praticamente obbligati ( dopo aver comunque doverosamente riposto correttamente i rifiuti negli appositi cassonetti) pena, la non restituzione dei 200 euro di caparra, a mettere fuori dal l’edificio, per chi soggiorna in questo appartamento, il giovedì il cassone della plastica in cui depositano tutti gli inquilini… strabordante di rifiuti è pesantissimo … ma non capisco… io sono in ferie… ho pagato quanto richiesto dal locatore… possibile che non sia provvedere in altro modo a questo servizio… ovunque io abbia mai soggiornato nessuno si è mai permesso di obbligarmi anche a gestire la consegna dei rifiuti che invece giustamente vanno differenziati. Oltre a ciò, avevamo avvisato che avremmo fatto il check out alle 9,30 e ci era stato risposto che dopo le nove sarebbe bastato avvisare e ci avrebbe raggiunto entro 15 minuti. Il check out da contratto è previsto per le 10… la ragazza è arrivata alle 10,05 dopo essere stata avvisata alle 9 che noi saremmo stati pronti… ma d’altra parte ormai non abbiamo potuto far altro che aspettare per poter ricevere la cauzione…

Nel garage è presente l'ascensore che la porta direttamente all'appartamento. Se per lei questo non rispecchia i canoni di comodità.. inoltre il centro dista 5 minuti a piedi. Nessuno le ha mai imposto di togliere il bidone della plastica condominiale fuori, semmai di lasciare la sua busta di plastica direttamente fuori dal condominio il giovedi sera, in base alle indicazioni comunali. Riguardo il check out, c'è scritto chiaramente che in caso di partenza prima delle 10:30 deve lasciare le chiavi sul tavolo e chiudere la porta, altrimenti veniamo noi di persona. Si tratta di concetti chiari e molto semplici, riportati nel contratto di affitto e nel regolamento della casa. Legga con più attenzione la prossima volta. Cordiali saluti

Luxurious and modern apartment. A wonderful big balcony overlooking the ocean. Air conditioning in every bedroom. The beds were really comfortable. Perfectly situated near the beach (though you need to cross a busy road). Lots of restaurants and bars close by, as well as two big supermarkets. Old Town within walking distance. The apartment is 4 floors up, there is an elevator. The girl that helped us check in/out was really sweet and helpful. The only negative thing I can think of is that the traffic is quite busy and loud, but the windows and balcony doors did a really good job shutting the sound out at night. We would definitely come back!

appartement moderne et propre et bien placé géographiquement.Proche des commerces et du centre historique.On peut se déplacer à pied. Emplacement formidable pour sa vue splendide sur la mer et la plage. Seul point à ne pas négliger emplacement assez bruyant car donne sur une rue passagère et un rond point.

La casa è bella, panoramica, grande, pulita ben accessoriata,comoda alla spiaggia, ai negozi e al centro . L'unico grande difetto è il forte rumore a tutte le ore. L'appartamento si affaccia su una rotatoria molto trafficata. Peccato. Federica,la ragazza che ci ha fatto check in/out è stata molto disponibile e gentile.

L'appartamento è perfettamente insonorizzato, come dimostrano le recensioni degli altri nostri clienti. Un pò di rumore nel terrazzo, dato che siamo in Agosto, è perfettamente normale. Uudehko, erittäin siisti neljännen kerroksen huoneisto. Vuokraisäntä asuu viereisessä huoneistossa. Hyvä sijainti, uimaranta asunnon edessä ja vanhaan kaupunkiin 10 min kävelymatka. Lentokentälle menevä bussi kulkee asunnon edestä ja bussikyyti maksaa yhden euron. Ainoa miinus tuli vuodevaatteista, kovat tyynyt ja peitot puuttuivat.

Kurz und bündig ...
Positiv: Sehr sauber, sehr gute Ausstattung, viel Platz. Gute Klimaanlage in jedem Zimmer. Altstadt zu Fuß zu erreichen. Gut sortierter Supermarkt, Apotheke, Eisdiele und Pizzeria direkt neben an. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Negativ: Der Lärmpegel. Zum einen liegt die Wohnung direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße (das alleine wäre auch nicht so schlimm gewesen) zum anderen ist direkt am Strand gegenüber fast jeden Abend Party. Musik bis 2 Uhr morgens. Für Partylöwen super... für ruhesuchende nicht geeignet.

Die Wohnung ist perfekt schallisoliert, die Zimmer befinden sich auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Ein Strandereignis ist aufgetreten (nur eine Nacht) und die Musik endet um Mitternacht. Schöne Grüße

Schöne großzügige Wohnung in sehr guter Lage
Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe. Tiefgarage. Aufzug und ein sehr schöner großer Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Zum Baden gibt es schönere Strände in der Umgebung, als den Stadtstrand. Das ist aber Geschmackssache. Supermarkt und Geldautomat direkt neben dem Appartemt. Nette Cocktailbar in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zu Fuß ca 15 bis 20 Minuten in die Altstadt, mit vielen leckeren Restaurants und Geschäften. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub. Die Badezimmer hätten etwas besser geputzt sein können. Ansonsten aber sehr gepflegt.

Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und großzügig. Die sensationelle Außenterasse bietet einen einmaligen Blick auf Meer und Altstadt. Bei der Lage an einer Hauptverkehrskreuzung darf man nicht erwarten, dass es auf der Terasse besonders leise ist.

Più gentilezza non guasta
Il proprietario non si è rivelato molto gentile. Alla riconsegna dell'appartamento, fissata per le ore 10:00 come da accordi verbali e come da contratto sottoscritto dalle parti è arrivato con ritardo giustificando il fatto che lui non abitava in zona. Il posto auto si trova all'interno di un garage sottostante l'edificio e per raggiungerlo bisogna passare su una rampa da brividi. Una volta raggiunto il posto auto non resta che accendere la torcia (non dimenticate di portarvene una) per raggiungere l'ascensore, ammesso che riusciate ad arrampicarvi sulla rampa in legno senza corrimani. In compenso l'appartamento è molto bello ed il terrazzo da solo vale il prezzo pagato.

Caro Sig. De Bianchi, Come può vedere in oltre 50 recensioni nessuno si è mai lamentato della mia gentilezza, il rispetto e l'educazione vengono prima di tutto, doti che non le appartengono certamente. Il check out era fissato alle 10:30 come specificato qui nel sito (tutti possono vederlo), avete chiamato alle 9:15 chiedendo di anticipare l'arrivo ma ho spiegato che non abitando in loco non era possibile anticipare (sarebbe bastato avvisare la sera prima), magari la prossima volta proverò il teletrasporto. Per la cronaca alle 10 spaccate ero in loco (anticipando di mezz'ora) ma avete lasciato la macchina parcheggiata nel passaggio per il garage impedendo a me e agli altri condomini di entrare (menefreghismo e maleducazione totale). Il risultato è questa recensione di ripicca, a 60 anni dovrebbe mostrare più maturità ma sinceramente non mi sorprendo. Il garage si trova nel sottopiano, di conseguenza bisogna scendere in una normalissima rampa.. normalissima per chi sa guidare ovviamente, considerato che avete chiesto addirittura un secondo posto auto.. sarà mai che è diventata da "brividi" perchè non vi è stato concesso? :) Nel garage sono presenti le luci, ci sono ben 3 postazioni con i pulsanti (una vicina al vostro posto auto, la seconda alla fine delle scale, la terza a fianco dell'ascensore), basta accenderle una volta sceso dalla macchina.. immagino fosse troppo complicato per lei farlo. La scala (7 gradini in tutto) presenta il corrimano sulla destra. Vogliamo menzionare poi la raccolta "differenziata" dei rifiuti, col caos che avete combinato nei contenitori condominiali.. avete buttato tutto insieme senza alcun rispetto. Prenoti pure da un'altra parte, di maleducati come lei ne facciamo volentieri a meno. Saluti

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit Super-Meerblick!
Eine tolle Ferienwohnung in zentraler Lage mit super tollem Ausblick! Einen Stellplatz für das Auto auf dem abgeschlossenen! Hof inklusive. Die Altstadt bequem fußläufig zu erreichen. Tolle Zimmer, zwei Badezimmer, alles so gut wie neu! Fotos entsprechen wirklich der Realität!!! Gabriele hat sich super gekümmert, sobald was anfällt, kümmert er sich! ...und was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat ( wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten!), bzw. wir vermisst haben, teilen wir Gabriele direkt mit. Tolle Wohnung in sehr guter Lage
Wir (Familie mit 3 Kindern) hatten einen klasse 1-wöchigen Aufenthalt in dieser tollen Wohnung in sehr guter Lage. Ankunft und Übergabe hat tadellos geklappt. Gabriele, der Vermieter, ist hilfreich mit Einweisungen und Empfehlungen in der Nähe. Immer wieder gerne und auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

Location de vacances idéale
Je viens de passer une semaine dans ce grand appartement spacieux et très agréable avec une très belle vue sur la baie. Idéalement situé sur le front de mer proche de plusieurs restaurants, d'un grand supermarché et à côté du centre historique. Le parking en sous sol est un vrai plus quand on a une voiture. Location que je recommande sans hésiter.

subliem verblijf in dit penthouse aan zee
Het volledig vernieuwde penthouse voldeed vrijwel volledig aan onze verwachtingen. Mooi ingericht en alles keurig afgewerkt, alleen in de keuken was het een beetje behelpen (erg klein). Het uitzicht vanaf het zeer ruime terras was geweldig, ook al ligt het appartementsgebouw langs een vrij drukke weg. We waren verrast dat het complex ook nog een ondergrondse parkeergarage had om de auto gratis te stallen. Al met al een hele mooie accomodatie met volop mogelijkheden voor vertier in het nabij gelegen oude centrum van Alghero.

Siamo stati ad Alghero settimana scorsa. Ottima posizione dell'appartamento, proprietario gentile e disponibile. Casa molto attrezzata e vista stupenda. Sicuramente torneremo.

Top moderne großzügige Wohnung mit traumhaften Blick
Waren 6 Tage in dieser absolut neu, top eingerichteten Wohnung. Es fehlt an nichts, Waschmaschine+kpl. eingerichtete Küche mit allem was dazugehört. Man muß sich um nichts kümmern, der Vermieter Gabriele ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und schnell erreichbar. Absolutes Highlight ist der Blick von der Terasse. Einzig der Verkehrslärm könnte etwas geringer sein...dies aber auch nur auf der Terasse. Uns hat das nicht gestört....wir kommen 2018 wieder!

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit ausgezeichneter Ausstattung! Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit!
Ideale Lage (vom Verkehrslärm abgesehen) nur 10min zur Stadt und direkt am Strand! Auch ohne Auto alles in Lauflage,Fahrradverleih im Haus ! Nur zu empfehlen-man muss in der zentralen Lage an der Promenade aber mit Autolärm (Kreisverkehr!) rechnen! Es war ein toller Aufenthalt auf einer Trauminsel!!

Appartement très bien, conforme à la description, manque juste un peu de petites cuillères :) Alghero est une très chouette petite ville. Du beau temps toute la semaine sauf ce dernier matin : tempête et pluie A refaire sans soucis

Wonderful stay
We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment. The view is fantastic, and when we were in the apartment, we spent most of our time on the balcony. The kitchen had all essentials, and all rooms were nice and clean. And as for the location, it is perfect — minutes away from both restaurants and beach, but still quiet at night.
