wonderful place to stay at with great view and garden need to upgrade their wifi router. it is weak and ancient need to add more garbage cart due to various garbage separation requirements

Alghero
Superb location and excellent sized property. But not maintained or clean. Needs updating. Reached at 10pm. Was not informed about a late charge until the day before arriving. Normal check in times4-8pm. So was asked to pay €100 for arriving at10pm. The swimming pool suite had a film of dust on the furniture. The curtains wouldn’t close and let the light in early morning. So couldn’t sleep in. Doors of the bathrooms wouldn’t close properly and had to pulled hard to close. However, we still had a great time in Alghero. The location and views are excellent. The short walk to the rocky beach is wonderful under the moonlight. It was good but can be a great property with little more maintenance.

Lovely villa with beautiful sea views
We had a fabulous stay in this spacious villa. The pool and views from the pool were amazing, communication with the owner and Silvia was easy and made our arrival at the villa very straightforward. Maybe not the best place to take small children but that wasn’t a problem for us. We would love to come back!

The perfect break
Late changes in COVID restrictions had us looking last minute for a location. This lovely villa just south of Alghero was a real oasis of peace and calm. Away from the hustle and bustle of Costa Smerelda, the Town and region of Algehro offers the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. But this was all eclipsed by the location and views offered by the Villa. We would have happily spent our entire time by the beautiful pool or on the veranda with a view to die for. Agnes the owner was incredibly helpful and flexible, and the ever present Silvia was always on hand for advice or assistance. A car is essential although its only a ten minute drive to Alghero, which has everything you need, and the old town is very pretty. The small beach to the south is also about 10 mins away and is a great place to watch the sunset. Sleeps 8 comfortably in the 4 bedrooms (3 on lower villa floor and 1 in the pool house (with en suite and kitchenette ). The 5th “room” is a mezzanine above the lounge and has ladder access, so only really suitable for older (but not too old) ones. Villa has everything you need for a great stay, and Is a wonderful place for a holiday. *****

Fabulous relaxing holiday. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Exactly what was needed .
Villa is set in an exquisite location with outstanding views of sea. Large pool and decking area is superb, as is the terrace adjacent to the villa. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation .Would highly recommend .

A beautiful setting with outstanding views
This was a wonderful experience. The villa is a little 'tired' having been built in the 1970s, and is showing signs of wear (and thus the 4 stars - if one could grade 4.9, this property would get it), but it is in an idyllic location, half way up the hill looking out west over the sea, with the tower of Old Alghero visible to the north. The swimming pool is a delight, and dinner on the terrace every evening was a wonderful way for the group together and talk through their experiences of the day. The coastline below the property is rock-pool rather than sand - a good place to snorkel. Silvia, the housekeeper, is charmingly helpful - her advice was thoughtful and useful, and she took great care to assist with local issues. We arrived very late (at midnight) to a clean villa with everything ready for us, and Silvia and Daniele very kindly showed us round, despite the late hour. We could not have been better looked after. This is a wonderful piece of Sardegna, away from the crowds and dust. Old Alghero is endlessly charming, with history and shops crammed into narrow Catalan alleyways, and plenty of gelaterie. Coming back to the villa in the evenings was always welcome, though we took several days just to enjoy the peace and quiet of the place itself, while the children played in the pool.

Villa Tara, Alghero
We are so glad we found this gem nestled on the coastal edge just south of Alghero surrounded by wonderful gardens. The accommodation was great for a party of eight (two families) the pool great and the views magnificent. We could have spent the entire holiday on the balcony just looking out at the changing skys and seascape. Any issues were admirably dealt with by Sylvia, who was always on hand to facilitate. I almost want to keep this great villa to myself, but should you book it I am sure you wont be disappointed. Our kids spent many hours in the rock pools at the end of the garden, although nice sandy beaches are not far away. We found a great one (not listed in the guide books) just 5km to the south. All in all a great stay; we only wish it could have been for 2 weeks rather than the one. Thank you Agnes (and Sylvia).

gutes Ferienhaus mit großartigen Blick
3 Doppelzimmer im Haupthaus und 1 Doppelzimmer im Poolhaus sind prima Ferienhaus-Zimmer. Vergleichsweise gut ausgestattete Küche mit einem großen Esstisch, falls es mal zu kühl für den sehr schönen Esstisch auf der Terrasse ist. Auch der Salzwasser-Pool ist wirklich schön.

Wunderschöne angelegt aber reparaturbedürftig
Wunderschön, sehr sauber, aber mit einer ganzen Reihe von Mängeln ( herausragende Schrauben der Holzwege, defekter Kühlschrank im Poolhaus, defekte Klimaanlage in einem der Zimmer, defekter Sonnenschutz, defektes Insektenschutzrollo) Den private Zugang zum Meer kann man zu Schwimmen kaum nutzen. Aber Ausblicke, an denen man sich nicht satt sehen kann. Fußläufig ist nichts zu erreichen.

Hello The fridge is repaired, the air conditioning works in all the rooms. You should have asked Silvia to explain how the appliances work. The villa is 4 km from Alghero and the sandy beaches. The access from the villa to the sea is to some coves, where it is possible to swim, but they are not beaches. We hope you had a good holiday in our villa.

Fantastische Aussicht, schönes Objekt, Wartung notwendig
Das Haus und das Grundstück sind fantastisch, die Aussicht(en) von den verschiedenen Sitzgruppen traumhaft, der lange Esstisch aussen ein Traum. Im Detail fehlt ein bisschen das "Kümmern" - wie andere Besucher schon schrieben klemmt es hier und da bzw. funktioniert etwas nicht. Alles nicht schlimm und würde uns auch nicht von einer Wiederkehr abhalten - aber der Eindruck, dass Missstände nicht behoben werden, ist schade. Insgesamt aber absolut empfehlenswert, wir hatten eine sehr, sehr schöne Zeit dort.

Warme und sonnige Oktobertage direkt am Meer
Die Lage des Objekts direkt am Meer ist phantastisch. Die Ferienvilla ist zudem optimal zu handeln. Güte und Ausstattung rechtfertigen den Preis. Wenn jetzt noch in der Winterpause die Handwerker kommen und Türschlösser und Wasserhähne reparieren sollte sich jeder hier wohlfühlen.

Villa mit toller Aussicht
Sehr schönes Objekt mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf Meer und Küstenstrasse. Großer Salzwasserpool, grosses Grundstück mit vielen gemütlichen Ecken. Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Müllentsorgung ist allerdings etwas umständlich und ca. 6 km entfernt.

Wir, vier Erwachsene waren vom 18. bis zum 25.September in dieser Villa, Super Lage, schöne Aussicht auf die Bucht von Alghero und auf Capo Caccia. Schöner Garten/Park, neue Bäder. Was uns nicht gefallen hatte: Das Haus konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden, da die Schlösser im Wintergarten und im Poolhaus defekt waren, Whirlpoll und Poolbeleuchtung waren außer Betrieb. Der Besuch eines Handwerkers wäre zwingend erforderlich..

Paradiso con vista
Soggiorno fantastico circondati dal silenzio e dai profumi della macchia mediterranea. Abbiamo potuto osservare ogni sera lo spettacolo del tramonto a Capo Caccia. La casa è splendida ben tenuta e ben attrezzata. La piscina con vista è un valore aggiunto che consente di evitare la spiaggia nei giorni di maggiore affollamento Infine la Sig.ra Silvia ci ha fornito un'assistenza costante e cortese.

Wunderschöne Villa
Wunderschöne, grosszügige Villa mit riesigem Garten und sehr schönem Pool. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse sind traumhaft. Silvia, die Hauswartin, ist sehr nett und informiert gerne bei Fragen. Für uns hat dieses Haus alle Erwartungen erfüllt oder sogar übertroffen.

Situation splendide ! Excellente communication avec la propriétaire. Quel dommage le jardin est à l’abandon et les chiens des voisins extrêmement bruyants. Attention les dimensions des lits annoncées sur le site ne correspondent pas aux dimensions réelles.

Bonjour monsieur Couton. Après vérification, les dimensions des lits sont bien celles indiquées sur le site. Le parc est entretenu et comporte de multiples plantes méditerranéennes que nous laissons s’exprimer pour respecter la biodiversité, nous avons donc des tortues, des rapaces etc..qui viennent y elirent domicile . Nous n’avons jamais eu de retour sur les chiens du voisins qui sont rarement présents étants très âgés nous allons nous renseigner auprès d’eux. Nous espérons que vous avez passé un agréable séjour .

Séjour très agréable dans un cadre splendide
Nous avons apprécié notre séjour d'une semaine à 2 familles. L'aménagement de la maison permet un confort optimal avec l'utilisation du studio du côté de la piscine par un couple parental et la mezzanine exclusivement utilisable par des adolescents. La maison est idéalement située au calme avec un accès possible à la mer par des rochers, proche d'Alghero. Elle a beaucoup de charme et permet de profiter des couchers de soleil spectaculaires avec une vue imprenable. L'accès aux personnes à mobilité réduite est possible. La piscine est très agréable mais comme pour l'ascenseur une attention particulière est exigée. Nous conseillons vivement cette superbe maison !

Wunderschönes Anwesen mit traumhafter Aussicht, riesigem Garten und schöner Poolanlage, die zum Verweilen einladen. Bei Sonnenuntergang konnten wir von der Terrasse aus Delphine beobachten - fantastisch! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen und können die Villa wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Danke auch an Silvia, die uns sehr nett empfangen hat.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans Cette maison la vue est incroyable, la maison est bien située, tranquillité, mais aussi proche d alghero qui est une ville très agreable Un petit regret il manque une penderie dans le studio proche de la piscine Et la fermeture de la maison est un peu Compliquee Et dans ce secteur de Sardaigne il y a plein de beaux endroits à découvrir À refaire

perfekter Urlaub
Wir waren mit 9 Personen für zwei Wochen in dem Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist für soviele Leute gut ausreichend, wenn man das Poolhaus mitrechnet. Die Haushälterin Silvia spricht zwar nur italienisch, was aber trotzdem klappte. Bei Problemen war sie gleich da und kümmerte sich sofort. Die Bilder werden dem Haus und der Lage kaum gerecht. Die Abende auf der Terrasse mit dem Blick aufs Meer sind unvergleichlich. Wir sind noch an andere Sandstrände gefahren, doch die Kinder gingen am liebsten vor unserem Haus ins Meer. Zum Tauchen gab es dort viel mehr zu sehen und danach gings wieder hoch an den Pool und unter die Pooldusche. Das Meer liegt gleich unterhalb des Grundstücks, der Abstieg zum Strand sollte vorsichtig "erklettert" werden. Aquaschuhe sind erforderlich, da die Felsen scharfkantig sind. Erst mal im Meer, ist es himmlisch! Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in den nordwestlichen Bereich von Sardinien liegt das Haus gut, aber weitere Ziele haben wir nicht anvisiert, da man auf der Insel nicht so schnell vorankommt und wir nicht die längste Zeit im Auto verbringen wollten. Alghero hat eine schöne Altstadt und wir sind abends öfter hingefahren zum Essen gehen und bummeln. Ansonsten wurde häufig gegrillt und auf der Terrasse gegessen, da es nur wenige Restaurants mit diesem Ausblick aufnehmen können. Eine etwas umständliche Situation gab es mit dem Müll. Dieser wird nicht abgeholt, sondern muss in Alghero abgegeben werden. Hat man sich daran gewöhnt, wird das mit eingeplant und eine Schleife zur Sammelstelle gefahren.

Traumhaftes Anwesen
Das Grundstück, auf welchem die Villa liegt ist sehr weitläufig und völlig ruhig. Das Haus verfügt über alles nötige. Der Pool ist sehr schön angelegt und von überall aus hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Einzig, die Tatsache, dass man seinen Müll selber entsorgen muss und dies so gut überall verboten ist, hat etwas gestört. Im Urlaub möchte man sich nicht mit so etwas belasten. Ansonsten war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.

Thank you for your appreciation. It is the politics of the island to want to make of Sardinia a green island. It is necessary to sort out its waste and to bring them in determined places of the city, but it is for a good cause.

Best choice for recreative holidays close to Alghero
Never been to such a luxury and spacious and tranquil estate before. A place I could stay forever, enjoying the view and every single sunset. Special thanks to Silvia, the housekeeper for always being helpful and with great tips for what to visit. Even if it was kind of hard leaving the estate :-)
