Alkmaar Hotel Guide - Hotels with Restaurant in Alkmaar, North Holland

The hotel is about 25 minutes driving time outside of Amsterdam. It's located in a town with many shops and restaurants, a nice walking/biking path, good nature and waterways, and even a 15 minute drive to a sunny beach. If you need to be in Amsterdam, but prefer to stay outside of it, this is a great location. It's family friendly and pet friendly as well. Free Wi-Fi when I was there. In all, I was pleased and will return again.

Great location , quality hotel and customer service all round

I stayed for two nights un June 2023. The hotel was excellent. Beautiful room with a nice view on the canal. The staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend, and I would come back if I ever visited Amsterdam again.

We initially checked in a room where the electricity didn’t work (beautiful nonetheless). After various attempts by the staff to solve the situation and power the room with electricity the hotel called us in order to accommodate us in another room. The new room was even an upgrade and everything was resolved within a few minutes. I stay in more than 50-60 hotels per year and I have come to the conclusion that at the end of the day it is the quality of people that can make the difference and...

From arrival to departure, this was.one of the more pleasant and relaxing hotel experiences we have had as a family. Friendly faces, fast check in with a relaxing refreshment. Clear explanation of all important facilities, breakfast and restaurants. Arrived in an upgraded room, which was spotless. Felt very new ab well maintained. Butler and consciereg service was outstanding and fast. Room service good and well priced. Restaurants for both relaxed and fine dining. Will definitely return.

Great location to explore both Amsterdam and the surrounding countryside. Right beside the train station in the center of Zandaam. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, rooms were clean and spacious. I recommend the welcome package extra.

I loved the hotel. It is really good, classic with really nice lounge and really nice rooms with perfect views over the river. I loved it and I would say it is close to everything

Really fab, super helpful staff, gorgeous room and really great breakfast. Little bit outside the center but downloading Uber is worth it. €12 in a Uber ro Amsterdam centrall. Great hotel
