Not a great place to stay. It served the purpose of laying your head down but there was nothing great or enticing about the site. There was also nothing to watch on the tiny TV.

Great location in center of Alkmaar! Shops & restaurants right outside the door. The hotel is beautiful and our room was great. The lofted room would not work well for someone with mobility challenges but worked well for us. Very responsive communication from the hotel! Would happily stay there ...

The window in our room was into the hallway where people were walking to their rooms. It was v uncomfortable and awkward. Also the pillows are horrific

Interesting old town centre, cheese connections, canal trip and the St Lawrence Church with its two world famous and important pipe organs - which we luckily heard being played! Some nice places to eat. Good for road connections to other locations
Absolutely loved it and definitely want to go back. It felt so comfortable and safe, clean and tidy. The locals were so friendly and helpful. I didn't like that lots of places didn't take credit or debit cards. PREV. PAGE why?I didn't go to Ams/dam .
