"Charming hotel"

"Clean room, comfortable bed, courteous staff."

"Although the design aesthetic was a bit too gaudy for me, this was just a one night stay and the room was as I expected. The staff were incredibly helpful….despite the shuttle bus officially only running between 6am and 9pm, the hotel picked us up at the airport and 9.30pm and returned us to the airport at 5.30am….we did not expect or insist on this, but they kindly offered, despite us saying we would get a taxi. Great service! "

"Excellent hotel with a very convenient location, right next to the train station, which made traveling around the city and taking day trips very easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were polite and helpful. A very good choice for staying in Basel."

"As a North American, I was pleased by the large rooms, real air conditioning (not the one that stops at 26C/79F). Location is interesting with the Dreiländerbrücke/three countries bridge/passerelle des trois pays nearby. It is a big shopping centre and traffic can be a bit loud, but stops when the center closes. Be careful if you have a Swiss travel pass, it doesn't cover the German part of the tramway line."
