Hidden from the nearby A39 and now in the care of the National Trust, the mill retains a 10' overshot waterwheel and machinery - not original - and is open to the public as a small rural museum. It last worked as a flour or grist mill in the 1930s. The leat channel is now dry

It would be difficult to pick out one aspect of the Bear in Cowbridge as it was all very good. Staff were lovely, food excellent and very good value. We will definitely return!
