"My only disappointment was the lack of early check-in. When I called day before to request it, they said could not guarantee it but it was likely. Regular check-in is at 4, I was hoping for 1:00 and was happy to pay for it. Well at 1 they said it had been cleaned but were waiting for the room inspection. Same exact story at 2, except they said it would be just a few more minutes. Same story at 3. Finally we were able to get in at 3:15... So not major complaint but why I didn't give it 5 stars. I would've done 4.5 but not offered on the survey. Note, the biggest reason we wanted in was to put some milk, that was in a cooler in the car but wasn't very cold anymore, in the refrigerator."

"My sister, my neice and myself LOVED this place! It was so clean, well organized, more than amply stocked with necessities. The place is beautifully decorated. Someone has an incredible eye for detail! The most relaxing and enjoyable part of our trip!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Alta Vista House! The location is perfect—right on the Geneva-on-the-Lake Strip, within walking distance of restaurants and Firehouse Winery, with beautiful lake views and private beach access. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and having A/C in each bedroom was a great bonus. A charming historic home in a fantastic location—we would definitely stay again!"
