Beautiful Portugal!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Val do Lobo. The accommodations are exactly as described and have beautiful view of the ocean which is only a few minutes walk from the villa. Emma our host looked after the details and made sure regularly the everything was good! The location has everything and we can’t wait to return!

Great stay

Lovely quaint little house in a perfect location 2 mins to the beach Nice restaurants nearby but also a good supermarket a short drive away so we ate on the terrace a few nights with the sound of the waves in the distance looking out over mature gardens. Ema was a great host who kept in touch throughout the stay. Would definitely recommend this property

Our stay at the little house by the sea

We had a really great stay … the house is a real gem, well configured, beautiful terrace, great location ( 5 min walk to beach), down the street from two great golf courses, fantastic property manager and housekeeping staff. We also appreciate Ema giving a lot good information to check in and enjoy the area. We intend on returning to continue enjoying the Algarve area, its people and food.

Lovely villa

This little villa was well equipped but still charmingly rustic, Vale de Lobos is an exceptional community. We were there in the off season so we could not take advantage of all of the amenities but we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurants and bars. Ema was quick To answer any of our queries, we would stay again and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely retreat.

Wonderfully idyllic!

What a beautiful little townhouse with views overlooking the sea! Such paradise, so tranquil and yet just around the corner from the Praça and beach. Perfectly located. Ema has been a wonderful host, very efficient and communicative in terms of organisation. No problems at all through the entire stay. The townhouse itself is spacious, well equipped and really clean. The decor is really lovely with a beach themed chic, and there is a rooftop with stunning views. All in all I cannot fault it and I would love to stay again!

Quaint little house with everything you could possibly need

My partner and I loved our stay at Ema’s VDL house. The house is perfectly located off a quiet road, only a few minutes from the beach front. The interior and amenities are simple but everything you would need, and the terrace was a great size, allowing us to spend most of our time out there. Ema was very communicative and helpful, with the check-in and check-out process being really easy. There is a parking card available meaning you can keep your car nearby the property. The bathroom is a little dated but we had expected that. Overall, we thought it was an amazing experience and would highly recommend for a couple!

Great Spot!

My wife & I enjoy a lovely week in this perfectly located little home on the Val do Lobo resort. The check in information and help offered by Ema was fantastic. She even sent us a little video showing exactly the entrance to the home which made things very easy for us! Location is brilliant for the beach and restaurants etc all within a few minutes walk. The closeness does mean you can hear the entertainment in the evening but certainly nothing to disturb you at bedtime! Whilst a little older than I imagined from the photos, the house is well equipped and comfortable and as I say, Ema could not have been more accommodating without being intrusive in anyway at all. We had a hire care which made trips to the local supermarket easy, it’s quite a walk otherwise! And Ema arranged for a free parking permit with easy parking at the rear of the house. So many places to eat wonderful food, nice villages to explore and the rest of the time sitting staring at the sea and the beautiful blue skies…perfect! Obrigardo Ema!

Superb little house by the sea

What a fantastic little place this was to stay in for our week in Vale do Lobo! Ema was so communicative and helpful from the start and the house itself was perfectly situated with a beautiful view, close to the resort amenities and was very well appointed. It was absolutely ideal for 2 adults looking to relax in our own space in comfort with the ability to cook for ourselves or go out for meals. The property was charming with everything from AirCon to BBQ to dishwasher and washing machine to beach chairs and umbrella. There’s a large electric awning on the terrace to stop you overheating and plenty of basic supplies like washing up liquid, hand soap, toilet roll and coffee and tea to get you started before you stock up at the excellent supermarket at the entrance to the resort or at Lidl a couple of miles away. For us this place felt homely and welcoming from the start and Ema could not have been more helpful and kind. We were only there for a week and left this morning full of regret that we had not booked for longer. We would love to return and spend more time getting to know this lovely part of the Algarve. This property and Ema are thoroughly recommend to anyone reading this. We will certainly be back in the future.

Just perfect!

After spending the last 20 years coming to The VDL with my husband, this was my first solo trip since losing him, so a big step! But, I feel SO very lucky to have stumbled across this little villa whilst I was searching. Its exactly in the location I wanted - a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and is the perfect size for a solo visit or couple. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay with beautiful views. The only downside for me, was I couldn't get any UK channels on the TV - apart from the news . I know you don't go away to watch the TV, but being alone it would have made a big difference, as I wasn't out for long during the evenings. But saying that - perhaps I doing something wrong - but if not, maybe this is something worth looking into. I didn't hire a car, as not too confident driving on the other side, so the taxi driver, on collecting me from Faro, kindly stopped at a Supermarket so I could nip in and get the essentials (wine!!) and other bits I needed. There is a brilliant supermarket at the entrance though which would probably have been about a 30 to 40 min walk which would have been too far with heavy bags though if you did, its really pleasant and you can look at all the beautiful villas on the way. So to finish up - I'd definitely recommend and have already booked for next year. Ema is SO helpful, and will check to make sure everything is OK with your stay. It was perfect for me and my first solo trip.

Marvelous place for Holidays

We couldn't found a better place to spend our last Christmas holidays... This is a very cosy apartment right next to the beach, ideal for a couple that wants tranquillity with a perfect sightseeing. We truly recommend it.

Loved this villa!

This is such a great little villa, the perfect size for 2 of us but you could easily stay here with kids too. The location is amazing, you’re a few minutes walk from the Praca and have a great sea view. The terrace at the front and on the roof are great for sunbathing and relaxing, you’ve got everything here you could possibly need, we can highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderfull appartment

Beautiful Stay!

Dealing with Ema the property manager was exceptional! Polite, helpful,personable and efficient!!. Ema Followed up promptly to any questions or concerns we had prior to and during our stay!. We would highly recommend staying in this villa, close to a variety of dinning, outstanding beach, classy resort like setting!.
