Reception staff were very helpful especially the blond lady (manageress I think). Came back in evening but had had a fall while out . She showed concern and was very supportive.

Great stay!

Location was good, a further from the train than I thought, but that was on me. Great price for where it was. Everything was in good condition as the pictures, staff was great to answer any questions.

Staff was great room was great. It was a little further away from the train station than I thought. But that was my error. Fantastic all the way around.

Business trip stop in almere

The hotel gives an worn out impression but the room I was given was not that bad actually, It was more than okay. Did not have a dinner there but I had breakfast, it was also more than okay. I would give the hotel a good and strong 3 out of 5, possibly a weak 4, for a business trip which it was.

Lovely

Receptionist wasnt very freindly or helpful but apart from that a wonderful 2nd stay. The breakfast lady is lovely freindly and helpful and more than helpful.

Decent Hotel between Amsterdam and Utrecht

I was able to find Bastion Almere based on the search function for a location I visited recently. It is not much of a luxury chain in that it is very no frills - no proper hand soap in the bathroom, based a little out of town, etc. The bed was very nice and the room itself was quite large without actually containing too much. The other facilities, e.g. the gym, are limited but still a nice touch, while the free parking is a plus. The staff are decent without exactly being friendly but they get the job done.

Nice hotel, decent size room and staff were great. Location. Was ideal for my purpose but is out of the way. Hotel dining options are limited. Breakfast was very good though. There is an Asian fusion place next door which is really good.

Staff was very help. I am not Dutch and had to make emergency phone calls. When the party I called answered in Dutch. I was in trouble till the staff desk translated for me. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was very dirty, did not smell good, bathroom did not drain water properly. Breakfast buffet was extremely limited and not worth the price. The cooks never took instructions properly with the omelet. Carpets were very dirty as well. Rooms had weird odors. Booked rooms together but are charged separately at the property.

Spent most of the day out- back to the hotel room in the evenings. Room spacious, bed comfortable. Superficially clean. It’s until we removed bed sheets we noted dirty topper. Dust and mess behind bedside cabinets. Arm chair with white stains. See pictures If you look for hotel with gym on basic level: that’s the one. If you’re cross-fitter or exercise person in level expert- you might get disappointed. But 10 minutes walking distance- CrossFit and proper gym available 😀

Nothing around, customer service needs work.

Location is horrific, literally nothing around. Check in was frustrating, arrived 30mins before check-in but was told a hard no, the receptionist didnt even check the system... I'm sure not all rooms get finished all at the exact same time, there was defo one room ready. Bar closed early, we sat for 15mins at the bar before we were told it was closed, despite staff members walking around us. One of the towels was stained in the room. Beds were comfy enough, cleanliness was okay.
