If your future plans include Portugal 🇵🇹, I highly recommend you stay at the Hotel da Baixa. The hotel is located in the city center, it’s easy to maneuver around, upon checking in, there is a two hour walking tour offered to all travelers at no cost. Eleanor was amazing during the tour around the neighborhood. Baixa is flat versus the hills you encounter in the older neighborhoods. All of my additional accommodations were reserved through the hotel which included two private tours to Fatima and Sintra and my transportation to the airport with a 5 AM departure. My driver walked me into the airport to assure I was settled prior to my departure. All of the staff were amazing! Thank you, everyone for making my stay extraordinary during my visit in Portugal 🇵🇹

"We had high hopes for this stop on our two week long trip in Portugal, but we found it creaky (the floors!) and old and hard to find the amenities (it’s a labyrinth!). The outdoor pool was not heated so was too cold for us at 6pm (it’s fall here now) and we didn’t have robes so had to wander about ..."
