Perfect for families and small groups seeking comfort and an ideal base for exploring Central Switzerland.

    The large, sunny terrace is one of the highlights of the apartment – perfect for meals outdoors or simply enjoying the view and peaceful surroundings.

    🛏️ Bedrooms & Living Spaces
    Both bedrooms are bright and comfortably furnished. The living room can be fully darkened and converted into an additional sleeping area. The sofa bed is 140 cm wide and comes with a mattress topper for extra comfort. The apartment accommodates up to six guests.

    A travel cot and high chair are available on request. A small play area with a selection of toys and children's book is also provided – giving parents a chance to relax while the kids play.

    The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

    There are three parking spaces directly in front of the house, one for each apartment. Due to the layout, cars may occasionally block each other. If this happens, you may need to ask another resident to move their car.

    The nearest supermarket is in neighbouring Alpnach (3 minutes by car / 15 minutes by public transport). If you’re arriving by train, it’s a good idea to buy the basics at Lucerne station before heading here.

    We provide high-quality bed linens and towels, as well as essentials such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent.

We cannot say enough good things about this property. From the beginning, Fiona was a perfect host and communicator. She made everything super easy, including the check-in process and communication before we even left the United States. She answered every question quickly and thoroughly and was super helpful. The location was absolutely perfect and the apartment is spectacular. It was a perfect size for our family of five adults. The view was positively gorgeous, and the access to the Cogwheel and Lake Lucerne couldn’t be beat. It was easy to go into Lucerne but fantastic to get out of it to a less chaotic, beautiful little town. The outside patio was heavenly and all of the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The washer and dryer were super helpful and the kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials. In short, we would all love to return to Pilates Nest and will go back in our minds many times.

Excellent experience overall. Property was lovely, spacious, tastefully decorated and very near the Alpnachstad cog train station to Pilatus Kulm and the boat docktrain to Luzern. Keep in mind there are quite a few stairs up if you have lots of luggages. The internet was slow unfortunately but the rest of the amenities are excellent We had a great experience and definitely an excellent option if you want to have a full Pilatus experience. Pro tip, go up Pilatus Kulm via cable car in Kriens, down to Alpnachstad via cogwheel train and then take the boat to Luzern. You need to get the timing right and may want to start early but this would be a full day experience

Convenient and close to train stop. Quiet area with hiking options close by. Outdoor patio was a great place to have breakfast and dinner. Place was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Would come back to this house.
