Obwohl es draußen sehr heiß war, war das Zimmer angenehm temperiert, so dass ohne Klimaanlage geschlafen werden konnte. Klima war aber vorhanden. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet. "The room was very clean and in great condition. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were nice and plush. The closet was a huge walk in style so I was able to unpack and not have to feel like living out of a luggage bag. I loved the in room refrigerator. The shower was powerful and luxurious. Internet connected easy and was a good speed for working. Being an American speaking English only all staff was kind and spoke English for me. I felt right at home."

"The Mercure Hotel in Gera was good business and comuter hotel. The surroundings were a bit eerie because a lot the buildings gave off a cold and industrial feel that were remnants from the Soviet Era. The bathtub in my room was a bit high and slipped and hurt myself get out of the high bathtub. The parking was also tricky because the door to the faciity was very quick. The consierges were frendlier and provided me with an iron an ironing board to get prepared for two business meeting in the Gera and Thurigen area later that day."
