"Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der liebevoll dekorierten Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Es war alles da, was man braucht und dazu ist die Vermieterin sehr hundefreundlich. Ein kleiner Gartenteil zu Alleinnutzung, sowie die naturnahe Lage (Hinter dem Haus beginnt der Wald) haben auch unseren beiden Hunden sehr gefallen. "Lovely property, very clean and in a very quiet location. Easy access to the local town for shopping and rail connections to Bamberg and Coburg. Beautiful surroundings for cycling, walking and swimming."

"Hier hat alles gepasst. Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus, in dem es an nichts gefehlt hat und tolle hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Sie halten sich immer dezent im Hintergrund, sind aber jederzeit da, wenn man Fragen hat oder etwas benötigt. Vielen Dank nochmal an Euch beide, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt."

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Wetter war traumhaft! Unsere Kanutour auf der Itz war super! Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr gut! Eine ganz kleine Kritik: im Elternschlafzimmer gibt es keine Nachttischlampen. In den beiden anderen Schlafzimmern fehlen sowohl die Ablagen wie auch die Nachttischlampen! Insgesamt hat es uns aber so gut gefallen, dass wir die Wohnung sehr empfehlen können! "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We knew it was an Ibis Budget when we booked so were expecting limited facilities as we have stayed with this chain before, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stay. The room was compact, had facilities to hang clothing but no where to put other clothing this had to remain in the suitcase for the duration of the stay. Bathroom was great, lovely shower with plenty of hot water. No drink making facilities in the room but again we were aware of this limitation with the Budget chain so took plenty of water and soft drinks. It was a short walk from the railway station and there was a local bus that ran frequently to take us to the Festival Hall where we watched Wagners Ring Cycle, for the more energetic it is within walking distance and we chose to walk back each night which was easy. This is the closest hotel to the Festspielhalle if you are attending the Festival, however, this does mean that you are a little bit further from the centre of the town, but again walking is not a great distance and buses are available. The only quibble, and it is a minor one is that the room cleaning was not very great. The bathroom was cleaned daily, bed made, but the floor was not swept/vacuumed once in our 8 day stay. Breakfast was excellent and the kitchen staff worked really hard, big thank you to all the staff, reception and the bar were 24/7 so when we arrived after midnight we were able to check in and get a drink. Would recommend."
