"We had a wonderful three nights in the mountain facing rooms. Added bonus of being able to watch the sun rise from the room. Friendly staff provided an excellent meal on the first evening. Breakfast choices were many and varied; we certainly set off each day well filled. The village itself was great for wandering around and the castle of course was the highlight. Slightly scared at first at the narrow entrance into the village in our hire car, but it's actually OK. Plenty of room. Parking easy outside. We found plenty to do in the area - could have stayed for longer. Thank you!"

I took riding lessons which was a highlight. Every staff member was so friendly and kind. We stayed on the property almost the entire trip but did go to marvao castle which is spectacular and a can’t miss. "
