Front Desk was Amazing. Property was a little older, but bed was comfortable, room was clean, price was great. Air conditioner kept shutting off before it could get cool in room. But we had a nice relaxing stay.

Lady at front desk was great friendly very welcoming! Room was clean beds were comfortable we were in town for college rodeo will definitely stay here again when we come back next year! Nice mom and pop motel

I always stay here when I’m Alva, OK. I love the older places where you can pull up to YOUR OWN DOOR and unload. It’s super clean, VERY comfortable and extremely affordable. The staff is always so welcoming and helpful.

Great stay at this underrated Inn. It is very clean. It is not luxurious but very functional. The staff is always highly professional, friendly and easy to work with regarding anything about your stay. Rita, the manager is very professional and accommodating. She and the staff offer good old fashioned customer service. Remember that??

The fact that there were only men at the hotel, the doors were all banged up, the man that was cleaning one of the rooms was smoking gave me a bad feeling that this probably wasn’t a safe place to stay with my child.
We were looking for a cheaper place to stay for the night when driving from Durant Oklahoma to Colorado Springs Colorado. It was a quick stay but I definitely recommend if you are either just needing a bed or needing something on the wallet friendly side! I’m normally a hotel snob, but it was late and there wasn’t much else available! But I was not disappointed!! Comfy bed, clean room, easy access to the highways! Glad I took the chance and it went smoothly! No complaints!
Basic room but clean and comfortable. Parking in front of your room and the staff was friendly. I would recommend and stay there again. Good price and value.

Amazing stay. This place is basically a home away from home. It’s quiet and the owners are incredibly friendly. I love Alva, just not enough to move BACK to Alva, so this will be my go to place to stay when I’m there. Everything was super clean. The blankets were soft. Dogs are allowed but the rooms don’t smell like dog if you prefer not to have animals. Great visit. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Not the hotels fault but the first night some bozo backed in at our door and we had to squeeze past his hitch to get in our room. 2nd night someone couldnt get into his room, no one in there would open the door at 1am. He pounded and hollered and a dog chimed in to event. Not sure how he ever got in!!

Made a reservation and got to the property and there was a note on the door to call 2 different numbers after hours. I called both, no answer, left a message and no call back. I had to go down the street to get another hotel.

I apologize for not hearing the phone when you came in. I'm the only person who runs the office 24/7 and on occasion i may miss a phone call. its not a excuse but just letting you know what may have happened. or my phone will kick out good numbers as spam and i never get a ring. Again I'm sorry for the troubles. If you ever need to come and stay i will personally pay for your room for a night.Its all i can do as of now to try to fix this and make sure i hear the phone no matter what. Have a great day

hello victor,i went to the room and there were bugs. on the floor and they were the beetles that crawl in. We constantly spray all the rooms. Bed bugs, yes i found them. As i explained we cannot stop people from carrying these things in.All we can do is treat as soon as there is a issue brought to our attention.. i personally go down and tear down the rooms from top to bottom and spray. we also use pest control after. the sheets and other things we can dry go through for 45 minutes , wash , dry again to ensure they are dead. and the room is inspected by myself and then the house keeper who bleaches and wipes everything down and does a second inspection. I have door sweeps on order to help with the stray bugs . it is a issue and i value your input. I'm sorry it was not a good stay for you. out of every complaint we get we do have 50 happy customers . im guessing that isn't real time numbers. id like it to be 100 percent all the time . i will do my best to improve or if you have an ideas please shoot them my way so i can do better for all of the people who come through here. once again I'm sorry for the bad experience and i will continue to improve both the property and myself to do better! Was assigned room that was not cleaned out, then assigned one that was occupied, then third attempt the back of the front door had either blood or some red stiff growing there. Filthy, filthy, and filthy. Do not recommended anyone else experience what my family and i did. Please don't get a room here.

We apologize again about the condition of the rooms. I've been working with the owner to fix this problem. There are no excuses for the rooms being a mess or for myself being un organized and sending you to a occupied room. ive been checking every room that is being cleaned daily and making sure that the rooms are properly recorded. I'm sorry your family had to deal with this and its been a learning lesson for myself working in the hotel industry.
