"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado in Talasnal has only the very basics of milk and eggs. Oh and chocolate and wine. Being in the off season only a couple of restaurants are open. We had such an awesome stay, would like to have stayed longer. Yes, there are stairs in the house. As advertised it is three levels. Kitchen is downstairs, living room and one bedroom on the main level, and two bedrooms upstairs. A great space and lovely stay!"
